Asantewaa Premier Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at Asantewaa Premier Hotel. For reference I had a standard double room. The staff are so professional and friendly! My room was clean and tidy, there was even a mini-fridge. AC and ceiling fan were great. There aren’t irons in each room, but I asked the receptionist if they had one and he kindly offered to have my shirt ironed. It came back better than if I would have ironed it myself. The food and cocktails are also really good!

An improvement I suggest is either putting frosted glass in the bathroom window (I was on the ground floor) or using transparent, frosted adhesive-back film (sticky back plastic) on the window, for additional privacy. Also the breakfast service was very slow.

I’m not sure how the star system works but I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels that weren’t as good as this one.

I would highly recommend anyone to stay at the Asantewaa Premier Hotel when visiting Kumasi. You are sure to feel comfortable, have good meals, and enjoy your stay for a very affordable price.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The customer service was top notch, with a nice and friendly staff that was very accommodating and eager to fulfill any request I had. The food was very delicious - there were so many options to choose from since the menu had a wide variety of dishes. The room was very comfortable and had great air condition, which was a nice retreat from the sweltering Kumasi heat. The overall environment there is nice, scenic, and clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will defintely stay here again in the future.

Asantewaa Premier hotel is better than it has ever been. The new updates are beautiful and I love the new beautiful bar! The food is amazing and what a suprise to have CAKE! It was so sweet and tasty. Diabetics just eat a corner 🤣🤣🤣
Everything was as expected and the customer service was excellent!

This is a particularly pleasant, nice hotel, with a nice bar & restaurant that has a selection of drink & food choices. It also has a sense of Ghanian culture that is interesting to the tourist. Wifi & breakfast is inclusive. A little way out of town, but it was a pleasant stay. Bicycle hire available.

Visited while on holiday in Kumasi. My family and I had a great stay. It’s a well run boutique hotel with large hotel amenities and comfort. The staff was polite and responsive to all inquiries/requests. The rooms and facilities were very clean. The shower had great water pressure as well. The bar and restaurant menu had a wide variety of dishes. The food was delicious and sourced from fresh ingredients. I will definitely return in the future.

I checked a few hotels before lodging at Asantewaa. Though I've been there severally, I was so impressed with their constant improvement in their hospitality, looks and management. Compared to many others, I don't know why someone wouldn't choose Asantewaa over the rest. And their staff are the best loving people I've ever met; from reception, to kitchen to bar to cleaning... they're the best.

Wonderful experience in the Asantewaa Premier Hotel ! The staff was great with us throughout our stay. The rooms are really clean and very comfortable. The hotel restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices.

My friend and I visited for the first time. For us it was confort and the friendliness of the staff knowing we were in a far away land. We fell in love with the staff and how welcoming they were towards us. It was a very beautiful and comfortable environment. So family oriented and yet private at the same time. There is no place we will rather stay when visiting kumasi but Asantewaa Hotel.. you guys are A class from the front desk to the kitchen staff.. thanks for making our first experience to Ghana a wonderful memory. 🌟 From Janet Ray.

I had a Wonderful experience at the Asantewaa Premier Guesthouse! The staff was friendly, professional and efficient. They went the extra mile to make sure that my stay was a pleasant one. The food at the Restaurant was 5 star quality! The new Bar and a restaurant has Beautiful decor and ambiance. I would highly recommend this Guesthouse, and I plan to return!

A 1-Star hotel but offers better customer service than some 4-stars I’ve been to here in Ghana!

Rooms are well kept, spacious and tasteful. Hot showers, fast Wi-Fi are typically my greatest needs when I'm away from home and they delivered.

Dinner to my room arrived fairly quickly, despite a heavy downpour(typical excuse for everything that shows down in Ghana).

Staff are well trained and the passion in which they welcome you and offer service is remarkable. I hope they keep this up and look forward to visiting them...hopefully, they would be rightly labeled as 3-star minimum by then.

Excellent place to stay in Kumasi, very kind on your pocket, clean cozy rooms, tasty foods and super amazing staff, always available to make you comfortable. Great location and easily accessible. I highly recommend you patronise them anytime you are in Kumasi.

My stay here was amazing!
Everyone was so welcoming and the service provided was great. Staff were lovely and were always around to help. The guest house itself was great, I loved the tours that was lead by the manager himself! Bikes were free to use, and they also have WiFi😆
Was in all a lovely experience, got to know more about my homeland.

I’ve stayed at Asantewaa a few times over the years and always have a pleasant experience. The rooms are comfortable, restaurant and bar are well-stocked, and staff are extremely nice. Near to KNUST and CSIR. I look forward to returning!

This is one of the best locations that I have been to in KUMASI. The accommodations are beautiful and well decorated as is the guesthouse. Each from has its own color scheme. The food is delicious! As far as the service and attention to detail that the staff provides to their guests I rate it as EXCELLENT! I am honest when I say that this one of the reasons why I will continue to coming back to Asantewaa Guesthouse.

Overall it's just a beautiful experience staying here, I especially love the eating areas, community room with t.v, the books provided for the children as well as adults, balcony views, and the sitting area upstairs.

It's worth your wile to visit. The location is not in the city but that makes it even better because the atmosphere is relaxed and comforting. We will be back ❤❤

The best hotel in Kumasi so far. Super clean environment, friendly staff, great breakfast and high security. and the compound is so lovely free bicycle to ride. And it's affordable too.

Came here 4years ago during my association’s annual general meeting. 4 yrs later and the place is still gets my 5 stars. Rooms are neat, staff are friendly, atmosphere is serene. Bed and breakfast. Home away from home. From KNUST to here by trotro is also very quick and cheap. Just 4gh and some few minutes you’re here. In case you’re having a program there and want to stay here and use public transport.

Great customer service. Professional staff. Neat, safe, and quite guesthouse. Excellent complimentary breakfast. I will highly recommend you to any one traveling to Kumasi. You guys are the best. More importantly, your employees mentioned to me that you treat them right and fair. Keep on the good job. The sky is your limit. Less I forget, your cleaning department is excellent.
