National Theatre

A lovely location in Ghana where the country’s rich culture comes to light. Various shows, concerts, exhibitions, and conferences take place here.
Great venue to witness local talent on display. Art exhibitions are also held year.
The building is uniquely designed.
If you are visiting Ghana I would strongly recommend checking events taking place here and perhaps witness how locals chill out and take in laughter. Tickets tend to reasonably priced.

Great theater! Sound system was good which made the actors very easy to hear even in the top tier. Uncle Ebo wrote the play and it created a memorable performance!

The architecture of this building is astonishing.
Had so much fun visiting there.

One of my favorite buildings ever! It's easily found in the city of Accra. Very spacious seating with great views from whichever angle you choose. Massive air-conditioning throughout the auditorium. This is indeed one of Ghana's most priceless buildings!

Nice experience to there when the three residents groups are performing, that is

the national symphony Orchestra of Ghana, national Dance company and national Drama company.
A new Art market has been launched around the car parking area. Which is called Amaga Market.

Absolutely loved it!! I will return for more culture ! Last night the Spanish Ghana collaboration was amazing 👏

But .. we need to clean up the theater, get the chairs all fixed.. the piano painted, drapes fixed .. and designate a few camera men .. so many of them on the stage and around.

The food and beverage need organisation .. the toilets attended to throughout the night..

A little organisation and upgrade would make the theater of the best touristic sites..

The God's are not to blame; a collaborative piece between Image Bureau, April Communications and national theatre was a masterpiece. The entire team brought Ola Rotimi's book to life. Kudos

The building itself is a sight to remember. It stands tall and huge and bends inwards suggesting its warm embrace to all who enter. It hosts multiple events that rarely leave your memory. If you want a place to get a large audience for your creative talents, the national theatre is for you.

The detective calls by April production and IB was definitely worth the watch. As their social media caption read, it indeed kept me on the edge of my seat. Twas a good one

It was just awesome. The DJ really made our time there awesome and got to have a nice time dancing around and catching up with friends.

Attended a graduation ceremony.
Was quite good. The place eventually became a bit hot but in general was good.

Warming atmosphere it's a place everyone must visit. I like the environment.

I was here to see a play 'The woman in the Bathroom'. It was splendid!

Mr. Ebo Whyte is doing great things here and the theatre culture is evident in Ghana

Very nice place to organize cultural programs. We did our Indian community program and we also held IPMC Graduation Ceremony there.

The place is stylish great designs with good sound and lights, nice seats spaced out well in a good arrangements. Nice staff officials ready to help you Incase you feel lost

A very magnificent edifice. Used for most occasions especially performing arts, music and theater.
