I was with my family on the mothers day. It was my first visit at the place and I never regret choosing to go there on that day. They have very delicious meals ranging from our own local dishes to foreign dishes. Regal Hotel has a beautiful environment adorned with different kinds of flowers. It's beauty is soo entrancing that you would want to go there again after your first visit. Their services were good and their workers communicate very well with guests. I'm actually planning on visiting again.

I visited Regal this afternoon and was very excited about their professionalism and strict with guiding rules and regulations in ensuring public safety. Especially around their swimming pool.

The Regal Hotel exceeded this expat's expectations by quite a bit. I like to think of this hotel as a Ghanaian version of a Marriott Courtyard Inn; a compliment.

This newly-opened hotel has clean and elegantly appointed rooms. The air conditioner worked so well that I think it could have made ice cubes. The rooms have sparkling marble floors, televisions with 7 working channels--two of which are 24x7 football channels. Also, there is a locking safe in each room. The shower is spectacular - a 10" square showerhead with 100+ outlets. Best shower head (rose, if you are from down under) I have ever been under.

Another reviewer thought the indoor restaurant had the decor of a 4-star hotel. I don't think so. He must be a relative of the owner The indoor restaurant, while nicely air conditioned, is little more than a room full of tables and chairs with an occasional waitperson showing up every so often, carrying orders to and from the kitchen, which is located in another building, at least 25 yards away. If you order a Spanish omelette in the morning, chances are you will get it right away. Order most anything else, like egg-fried rice, and you can count on a half-hour wait, even during evenings hours, even when no one else is in the restaurant or bar.

The pool is clean, cool, and very refreshing with two high-flow outdoor showers.

I recommend the Regal Hotel highly. Well done, proprietors.

The Jewel of Tamale this hotel is. Located in the middle of mediocre accommodation and low quality service, Regal Hotel is in a league of its own. Room guests are greeted with chilled complimentary local drinks - Boabab juice or sobolo (hibiscus).

A newly built hotel with 11 luxurious rooms makes it ideal and desired for folks wanting the best hospitality and willing to pay top cedi for it. Regal has standard, executive standard and suites room options.

By comparison, the cost of one night in a standard room at Regal Hotel is about two nights of an executive room in one of Tamale’s top lodges. The price pales in comparison to the quality of the hotel furnishings, proactive and professional staff and the great chef churning out soul-hitting meals.

With an aesthetically situated swimming pool, the hotel invites residents and visitors for a cooling swim and temporarily escape from the Tamale heat. Changing rooms, showers, fresh white towels and sun-bathing flatbed chairs compliment and standardize a great swimming experience.

A bar nearby the pool is a great hangout to catch games, or business. Fitted with WiFi (free for guests) and charging points, one can get lost into their own world.

An indoor restaurant has decor fitting of a 4-star hotel in the capital and of course, the food is great. Worth noting that a bit of wait and patience out to be factored into your meal plans as most foods are cooked from scratch. My favorite dish was the Egala special - a scrumptious and well seasoned seafood platter nicknamed by the chef after the owner.

Finally, they have an airport shuttle making it easy to go to and from the airport. Public transport can be a bane as it’s largely non-existent so the Shuttle service comes in super handy. Failing that, front desk have phone numbers of local taxi and yellow-yellow (three wheeled cabs), and can arrange transportation to the airport or other parts of the city.

Definitely look forward to staying there again.

Excellent place outside Tamale traffic in the northern region. It is a comfortable place for all and good environment. It is on your way to Karaga

Exorbitant charges only. Workers not welcoming that much. Management should look into it. I personally had bad experiences twice and decided not to visit anymore

Regal Hotel is a nice and luxurious place in Tamale. It was my first time I visit but I can judge that there's everything one looks out for in a Hotel
