Called in to buy some dead bait. My first visit as I don't live in this area, was just passing through Louth. This is a very well stocked tackle shop. Good prices. I didn't catch the owners name but he was very helpful and a really nice bloke.

I visited today for the first time, fantastic range of stock, fair prices and the member of staff working was extremely friendly and helpful. Not to mention Dinky, who kept my mum and girlfriend entertained while I shopped! Looking forward to my next visit..

First visit and impressed with the range of brands stocked and good quality live baits including maggots and worms. Will certainly be revisiting when fishing in the area again

Jason has been an absolute Godsend. We popped in for a couple of bits and he went way above and beyond helping, setting up rods and advising us on lots of things. Would definitely go again if in the area and will be placing online orders in the future. Thank you!

A proper angling shop. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Well worth a visit. Repaired my broken cupping kit section (foc) in 10 minutes and saved me having to buy a new one. Cheers

Amazing selection of fishing gear, bait, apparel. This is the biggest fishing shop I've ever seen! You walk in the small door and it is like stepping into a tardis! Very helpful staff. So much stuff in here I could have spent a day just looking, awesome!

Cannot recommend this shop highly enough. Well stocked, competitively priced and with friendly, helpful staff, it is the one stop shop for all your angling needs. Only gave it 5 stars because I couldn’t give it 6. As Tina Turner would say, ‘Simply the Best!’

This is one of the friendliest fishing shops I've been in. Being two females and new into fishing i have to say the owner was so, so patient with us.. he must have spent at least one and a half hours going through different techniques and even sent us away with rigs that we just had to attach.
He is so full of knowledge and talked us through the different types of fishing foods' to which there are so many' and he wouldn't let us leave without a free bag of food. We will be back 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great shop, plenty of parking and a wide selection of tackle and bait. Responded really well to anglers needs in these unprecedented times.

As a novice to fishing I have visited Advanced several times and have always been impressed by the very helpful and courteous team where nothing is too much trouble and they will go into great depth to explain what you need to know to make your fishing experience better. If you call in make sure you give Dinky the dog some fuss.

Great place with a good variety of products, Dave, who works there is a kind and helpful person. Highly recommend to anyone.
