Great little tackle shop. You can get everything you need. Close proximity to both East and West fishing walls at Brighton Marina. Owner/Manager was friendly and very helpful. Overall I would highly recommend.

I would fully recommend going out of your way to come here and buy your gear and bait.

They had so much information and advice and I bumped into Phil the bass a legend there and had some secret advice.

They went through the pros and cons of each rod.

Fixed spool compared to a multiplier, which line to use on the reels.

To top it off I got a big discount on buying a bulk deal. They chucked in some weights and helped out with tidal time guide.

They showed me some great fishing spots and what to aim for!.

Great team down there. If your going to spend £30-40 for a new reel or rod, pop down there first your likely going to get a better deal!.

Always support your local tackle shop! They will be gone before you know it.

If i can give them 6 stars i would, yesterday i take my 12 year old son to the shop because he decided he wanted to go for fishing. We don't have any idea how to fish or anything about fishing. They explain to us how where and everything else. Yesterday my son fish 3 Mackerel and today 4 he is so happy and excited doesn't want to play xbox for hours, he just can't wait for go fishing again. Great customer service 👍👍and thank you for all your help.

I don't really do reviews but...

I don't know that much about fishing, went into the shop, expecting to pay a certain amount. Left feeling far more informed about fishing, I bought some kit which was substantially less (50% less) than what I'd expected.

They've sold me some kit that is EXACTLY the kind of fishing I want to do. Even when i thought I wanted to spend more.

Incredibly helpful and honest.

I feel I've been treated very well. The deals are FAR better than anything ebay can offer , and clearly the expertise and knowledge are passed on very generously. The gentleman who 'served' me was hugely warming and helpful.

So NO I'm not an expert, but I give a HUGE yes to being treated well as a neophyte fishing person, and being helped to start enjoying this lovely activity.

Excellent and well stocked shop. Very helpful staff, knowledgeable and friendly. They have time to chat about the Marina, locations and weather and were very approachable. If you need your baits, they will drop it to you on their way while making their usual rounds along the arms. Definitely the best place around Brighton.

I went in to see about a small amount of river equipment not knowing a lot about fishing, after a little confusion with the man that works there, only due to I forgot to say I wanted river equipment. The gentleman was extremely helpful and helped me get everything together that I needed while also giving me bits of advice. If i ever need anything i will be strait back!

I must say what a great shop not to big but not to small,the welcome you get as a first time customer I must say was outstanding, the time that was taken when I asked anything was outstanding, had a great chat with two gentlemen that I've never met but made me feel more than welcome in the shop ,I look forward to going back because of the service , feel free to pay them a visit im sure you won't be disappointed in the service you receive, 5stars gentlemen well earned .

Tucked away in a corner, right near the marina, this great tackle shop is full of everything you need, along with really friendly staff who'll talk you through what you need, no problem. They also happen to be bang on with what fish are where and when - well worth a chat to find out!

Phil The Bass is the man for you! Been fishing for mackerel at the east wall for many years. Known Phil for a while, he’s such a good laugh. Phil told us to fish for bigger and more exciting fish like bass, whiting and wrasse. Phil is such a bubbly guy, age is nothing, notorious in his approach with advice. Phil even told us he’d rig up some live baits for us for next time! Watch out for Phil the Bass (Warden on the skippy scooter); he’s the man!

Good quality tackle - plenty of bait (always) good advice and nice new premises opposite McDonald's on Quay
