The Bike Station

Really knowledgeable and friendly staff - came in looking for some obscure vintage parts and was very grateful for the help I got. There's a huge range of 2nd hand bikes and parts, as well as some new items too - an enthusiasts heaven! Prices are extremely reasonable - 3 pedals, 2 kickstands, and a cotter pin cost a grand total of £7. It was also nice to be able to drop off my "donor" bike knowing it would be used rather than just ending up in the landfill. A fantastic shop to have in Perthshire; a far cry from the shiny lycra and carbon fibre filled "box stores" nearby, and all the better for it.

I popped into the shop yesterday after visiting halfords for some bike parts which they couldn't help me with. I got what i needed at a bargain price and found the staff to be helpful. Bike station seam to have an abundance of used parts to rummage through which is great and inexpensive. i got what i needed for £2 which was great! If your looking for anything bike related i'd advise taking a look, its a treasure trove of bike bits at great prices! Well done team!

My partner and I received great service at The Bike Station by Mark and his team; they were very informative and helped us to find the bikes that were suitable to our needs. There was no sales pitch and they made it easy to make an informed decision.

The Bike Station runs a very helpful scheme where you can go out and test ride the bike as long as you leave some form of ID. They make sure the bike is adjusted properly before you go away and ride. They also run workshops where you can go along and use their tools and with their advice, learn bike maintenance in order to be able to fix your own bike.

What a fantastic company! Helpful, charming and hugely experienced. We have used the Bike station on several occasions for new bikes and repairs and have always been impressed with the friendly approach of the staff and the range of bikes on offer! Highly recommended and a big shout out to Big Mark who runs the Bike Station - top guy!

Love the concept of RE-cycling and re using parts, bits and bobs. Did a really good job with my bike.

Had a serious problem (bent derailleur hanger, broken derailleur) on bike I use for commuting. Took it in Saturday morning and using their self-repair service, with the advice and massive assistance of an incredibly knowledgeable, patient and helpful young person there, I was going again by the afternoon. If you got a problem with your bike, then make the Bike Station your first port of call. I looked for somewhere in Dundee and there was nothing, so if you're in the DD area with a bike problem and you've the means to shift it, then it's worth a quick trip up the dual carriageway. Great crack and great service...

Can't recommend these lads enough! I drove down from Inverness basically just to get my bike sorted at the Bike Station. I was quoted crazy prices in Inverness as the part had to be ordered from Rockshox. My bike is not worth three grand and I wasn't going to pay £85 for a small piece of plastic. The lads at the Shop in Perth fixed it with an old gear lever, cost me £20 and they did a load of other stuff too. My only complaint is that there's no shop in Inverness. They were friendly, quick and cheap!

Walked in to have bike serviced and looked over after car accident. Staff very polite and very helpful and fixed up my bike for a good price. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We needed some bike repairs done i.e. new wheel, new brake pads and and the staff were very friendly, helpful and did the repairs within minutes for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
