It's closing! The last hardware shop in Dundee. DEC'S went yeas ago and M&S at the top of Peter Street is just about to close. It was the first M&S in Scotland. Goodbye Dundee.

It's great having a shop like this in the town as it saves a trip to the bit stores like b and q. They generally always have what you need and everytime I go in I see something new. For instance, today I just noticed they sell wood!

Fantastic fabric shop in the city centre. I made the pink trousers for Radio1 Bog Weekend in Camperdown Park, Dundee from fabric, thread and zip all from Zenova.

This place is great having it in the town. It saves a trip out of the city center to b and q or home base. They have a wide selection of hardware from screws, bolts and electrical stuff, they also have a fabric selection too. Even thought the year they have fireworks. I've even picked up a sledge from here when its been snowing.

Lovely shop with incredibly friendly and helpful staff! I've not lived in Dundee long but I quickly became a regular customer here as they always have everything I need! I've been working on 2 big costume projects and I've never left empty handed due to their vast amounts of different fabrics, it's all beautiful quality and I've never had a single problem working with them. Even when I've finished with my current project I will definitely be returning regularly for all future costumes and projects!!

I am absolutely in love with this place. 10/10 for both service and fabric.

I only recently learned how to sew etc, but using their fabrics me and my partner won a costume competition (pics attached). We were back and forward buying a bunch of fabric, and the staff were absolutely lovely the whole time and super helpful.

Will absolutely be shopping here for all my upcoming cosplay projects, and highly recommend these guys for any crafty projects. With a good mix of fabrics, dyes, and DIY/Hardware stuff it's an amazing shop.

I'm highly looking forward to popping in again to get some new fabric for another project soon! All to sum up, anyone looking for a good fabric shop in Dundee, this is it!

Been in a few times recently to get DIY goods. Nice shop selling everything but the kitchen sink (which they probably do sell).

Helpful & honest service. Guy on the till asked me if I really needed dimmable bulbs (I didn't -- I didn't realise I'd picked up the wrong ones) and picked out cheaper versions for me at half the price. This was after refunding a purchase from the previous day, too. Can't beat that sort of service.

This shop in Peter St town centre has everything you need. I tried online all over the town this shop was the only place I got Red Cedar fence paiint...I'll be back for sure.

Amazing selection of well-priced fabrics of different materials and patterns (lots of tartan!), full haberdashery and hardware, tools etc. for home DIY. Similar to 'Boyes' shops in the north of England.

As a bonus, they have a lovely black lab as shop assistant, and a friendly shopkeeper.

Lots of hand sanitizer and masks for sale as well, at reasonable prices.

This shop has everything! Any odd scew bolt or sewing notion . They even have a good selection of discontinued light bulbs for your curio cabinet.

Always seems to have what I need for DIY, odd jobs, and sewing projects. The shop assistant I saw was very helpful!

top place get anything you need nice helpful staff.even if you need something they go out way to source it and phone you with price.

Great staff here. Very quick to help me find what I wanted. Fantastic range of goods. Not many of these hardware shops left.

I enjoyed my experience they have a vast variety of different fabrics and also the staff are very friendly. I would definitely be doing back due to the fact that they always have what I need when I come in .

Got everything that a hardware should have. Good thing this store is still here otherwise you will have to go online for the kind of stuff this shop has.
