Tilsley College, Bible College Scotland

My two years spent at Tilsley were an absolute blessing and life changing. It was an amazing , challenging, trying and fun time. The teachings were incredible though often intense, (if you not an academic person this might be a stretch). However there is always help available from the lecturers. I learnt so much about myself and serving others and I continue to grow in the LORD because of the teachings embed in me in my two years spent here. The ministry placements are tailor made which makes it easy to develop and grow in the area of ministry you feel called or even if you just wanting to develop your relationship with God. They have a mentorship program that ensures you have someone supporting you through it all.

It is a small and cosy “home”, which I loved but also not so much because it meant you were always surrounded by people. (There is always that space to retreat to your room) The concept of family is one that I can never get over as I felt supported, encouraged and prayed for all through. I have made lifelong friendships. The one downside for me was that the food was not always great and at times the amount of work we had to do. (Felt like university)😨
I hear the food has improved a great deal now which is always a plus. 😀

Tilsley College: a good way to spend a year, or two, or three. It even comes complete with a great cafe and a first-class Christian bookshop. It is also situated in the heart of the incredibly beautiful and romantic town of Motherwell. (OK. I slightly exaggerated the description of Motherwell.)

I was a student at Tilsley college in 1992/1993. It was the best decision I ever made and changed the direction of my life. Would highly recommend for any age, you're never too old for God to do something new.

Loved our time there. Learnt a lot and had a good time with other students. We were being looked after incredibly well by the staff. Thank you everyone at Tilsley!

Great place to go to take a year out, study God's and be equipped to do God's work in God's world.
