If your looking for a bite to eat and don’t want to pay through the nose for a meal at a pub etc then this is the place, decent sized portions at decent prices! We had the minute steak with stilton 🤤 Well worth the money, the food was delicious and the girl serving was lovely! Only shame was i didn’t have any cash to leave a tip!

If you're in town, you must have a bite to eat from here. Their sandwiches are delicious. I recommend the prawn mayonnaise!

Great place for fresh sandwiches, rolls, ciabattas and cakes to take away. Good choices, and plenty for vegetarians too. Been in business many many years, and recommended to us by the locals. Couldn’t ask for better. Thank you.

Great sandwich shop. We needed gluten free and they understood about being coeliac! Multiples types of breads, most of the fillings were GF and the staff were so friendly! lol reasonably priced as well. Definitely recommend

Me and my husband always talk about this sandwich sad i know but till you try the new Yorker and the Ruben you cant judge me!!! They are so well filled and so filling!!! There js sometimes a que too get it but do not let this put you of … get in that line and try the above sandwiches and thank me later!!

This little sandwich shop is amazing. Wish I had found it sooner. I had a Turkey & stuffing saddle in a fresh baguette, crisps, drink and a homemade piece of carrot cake and it cost just over £5. The staff are super friendly and they even gave my 2 hungry spaniels some chicken. I can’t wait to come back to this little gem 💎 ❤

Its a great place and great sandwiches made with love. What more can we say. Love this place. Lots of options and big big sandwiches! I had a ham and brie and apricot chutney sandwich and it was very generous and tasty!

Great sandwich shop, been using them for years whenever we are in Keswick. Very generous fillings and nicely wrapped for taking out on our walks.

This is the best sandwich shop, they have everything, they are such kind people and always have a good conversation with you, they have incredible gluten free options and clean the work station for your meal, they open fresh food and cans if u have a allergy and always double check, I highly recommend

My only gripe is that hygiene would be improved by use of gloves when adding salad. I wasn't overly concerned though.

The best sandwich I've had outside of the USA! I chose the New Yorker which was so substantial that I couldn't even consider an evening meal. The bread was beautifully fresh as were the fillings. I was also impressed that I was asked for various options, including being asked if I wanted salt and pepper. I'm not surprised that it was good though as there was quite a long queue outside. I hope next time I visit Keswick, this shop will still be there.

Had a beautiful fresh, hot sandwich here / the chicken, stuffing, bacon and sausage with gravy. I chose to have it in a baguette which was freshly baked! My boyfriend suffers from coeliacs and the staff were great in recommending what fillings he could have. Very thankful of the young woman who thoroughly cleaned down the work tops before preparing his sandwich too. He had egg Mayo which he said was lush!

Absolutely to die for. I had the chicken, sausage, bacon and stuffing sandwich (it is one of the hot sandwiches on the menu but I can't remember the name.. hot roast maybe?) And I can honestly say it was the best sandwich I've ever had. It was fresh, hot, unbelievably delicious and FULL of amazing quality ingredients. My partner had the steak and brie and said exactly the same.. we were leaving the lakes the following morning but the sarnies were so amazing we detoured back here to get another one for our drive!! Lovely staff as well and although we didn't have a cold sandwich the fillings all looked beautiful and fresh. Will be our first stop next time we're in the lakes without doubt!

Huge choice of bread/rolls and fillings, always generous with the latter. They have a loyalty card which seems unusual outside of coffee shops. I've been buying lunch here whilst on holiday for many years and thought their New Yorker unbeatable. However this year I discovered the Reuben on sun dried tomato ciabatta and now I'm torn between the two. Definitely worth the queue.

I've been here many many times, usually for a breakfast roll, and at the same time to pick up my, (and my family) lunch before heading out for the day. I have to thoroughly recommend this place. Great choice of sandwich fillings, friendly staff, and fantastic value. It's nice to see a small establishment doing well.

Make sure you pick up lunch at least once here. (And a breakfast roll and coffee at the same time!) You'll come back again I promise!

would give 100 stars if i could. As a Coeliac always worried about eating at sandwich shops. However when I asked for Gluten free bread ( there is options not just sliced which in iteself is worth 90 stars!!) they asked if i was coeliac or gluten free by choice. understood what was needed when said. and explained would be extra careful. Would recommend it to anyone and will be my favourite place when in the lakes.

The Veggie New Yorker was the best veggie sandwich I've ever had. Will be attempting to make my own.

Came across this little gem on Sunday. Beautiful, delicious fresh baguettes, sandwiches, savouries and cakes. Good value for money. Well organised and set up to keep customers safe during the pandemic. Friendly staff. Will definitely call back next time we visit Keswick.
