Absolutely dedicated staff, so caring and with you instantly when in need, talking with one of the staff I said ' I don't think one week will help ' they agreed, but they said it's giving you a better start...so true and thank you. And by the way the food was brilliant, especially the soup. If you need help get yourself there. You won't regret it.

Moredun is extremely understaffed and hard worked. Yet always find time for a chat and bit of banter. I have immense respect for all the staff won't name names for privacy sake but they are incredible for the hard job they have to do. They have to deal with really unwell patients that can't disguise between reality and delusion.

I was an inpatient for 4 weeks and they looked after me every day and I have a great deal respect for everyone of the staff there. It's not easy being sectioned especially when delusion and reality is a blur but they help you out and get back on your feet as soon as they can.

I wish I could do more for the staff here because they have put up with all the harsh realities of life yet have to find a way to smile through it all and find genuine love for their job or they wouldn't be able to cope.

You are all fantastic! I wish every one of you all the best for your futures and hope the situation changes so you can find more time to enjoy the good things in life. Thank you so much!

My Brother Irvine Morrison leaves tomorrow after 9 months in Kingsway and here .A big thanks for both hospitals for looking after him .He's off to Catmore Nursing home in Scone .We will both miss the friendly staff.

Excellent facility and staff 100% dedicated to looking after patients and making them feel comfortable.
Can't praise it highly enough.

Had a lovely stay staff were excellent top banter pool room full of humour unfortunately mordeun unit has lost a star from me as the bed was a nightmare to sleep in and the food was gash

Absolutely joke of a place no wonder people don't ask for help or end up takeing there own lifes

He'll on earth only place worse is Carseview Dundee, the staff are polite to a degree but are short staffed treated like children with constant threat of removal of time out or being sectioned. Made to wait sometimes over an hour for Meds no seating provided even if you suffer with arthritis in knees left to stand and guaranteed after a couple of male patients seen they shut the door on you to go to the Females side not once was a female made to wait. And then the best of it in 99.9%of time at least 2 females under observation others in office in female side no one on male side or kept waiting. Communication is abysmal, discharge meds always late some times having to go back next day.
And even when discharged phoned to say you are absent, despite Dr opening door to let you out with bags in your hands, police given wrong information to enhance effect of report hassled by police as well as Family with them turning up and searching house late at night, told them to check discharge meds and they would find them but no to much effort and when sorted no apology high and mighty status.
My advise don't get involved with this place, see Dr get referral to community health team avoid like the plague.

Needs sorting out....

The place is a total joke, you get zero treatment if you say you want to leave your threatened with sectioning, under staffed no complaints procedure. Complete waste of NHS facilities. Deserves 0 stars
