I didn't catch the chaps name but he was very helpful. Sorted me out a lovely suit, helped me with advice about which shoes go with what. Got the whole lot, tie belt, shirt etc. Really good service and a quality suit at a good price.

Just purchased a new suit from here today. Experience was brilliant Kenneth was extremely helpful with me being pretty challenging deciding what I want. Couldn’t recommend them more, they’ve now got a customer for life.

Liam and his team were amazing , literally world class service! Came in store 2 weeks ago looking for a suit , first one I saw was very unique and I loved it straight away : was with me for around and hour going through everything I needed to know , measured up for alterations was not a problem at all his colleague that was doing all the alteration pinning was amazing he is a credit to the store and with so many years of experience in suit business he knew his craft! I am definitely going to recommend to others! I am manager myself in retail and value great service experiences and you guys definitely hit the nail on that , cannot wait until my friends wedding to get this suit on!

I did a quick shop there for my wedding suit recently. Unfortunately, I wasn't happy with my initial pick of the suit. It's hard to visualise it after the alterations and I needed quite a bit of tailoring done. It's worth noting that the shop offers inclusive tailoring services. I brought my initial suit back to have it replaced. I was assisted by Keneth who helped me pick the right suit to go with my body build. I was over the moon with my new purchase. I have recommended this shop to a few of my friends already. Friendly customer service and great prices. A rare sight in todays day and age.

Enormously helpful when sorting suits for my wedding, particular Morgan who gave lots of good fashion advice. The suits themselves were very good value, especially given that any alterations were included. My only advice would be to make sure to put them in for the alterations sooner rather than later!

I can't believe I've never left a review for Slaters!

I've been using Slaters ever since I was 16 years old when I first rented a tux for my secondary school prom, various kilts for weddings, and just recently a brand new three piece blue chequered suit.

Throughout the years I've been going in, I've never had a problem, and I've always walked away with exactly what I was looking for, with very few tikes needed to go back for alterations.

The staff advice is excellent and the staff measure you properly when you've picked from literally hundreds of suits.

Once your suit is ready, you're encouraged to try it on so that the staff can give you the once over and see themselves if you need antly alterations.

Price is a bit of a premium, but I wouldn't expect anything less for the quality you get.

I highly recommend Slaters, but in particular the Basingstoke store.

Came in for a shirt for a wedding off the suggestion of a colleague. 15 minutes later I had exactly what I wanted after some great customer service! Knew my size immediately, happy to offer advice on what will and won't match, and the advice was good as got the most compliments I've ever had in a suit! If your thinking of going to Slaters I'd highly recommend it!

Been going to slaters for suits for ages now , always good products , clean a lot of choices , different sizes even for me who is on the chubby side , staff are amazingly helpful and nice , special tanks to Aaliyah and Josh for helping me today , you guys are the best !

Visited Slaters last Sunday and was served by the manager... The service, as always, was impeccable. We purchased a full suit for a black tie event with shoes and accessories and loved every minute. I forget the guys name that we dealt with but he was nothing short of amazing and even undressed a manikin to make sure we got the suit we wanted.. If you get the chance to shop here you wont regret it.. 5 Star!!

Excellent service from both Liam & Morgan - prom suit for our son then back again a month later for a black suit for a funeral - nothing was to much trouble with showing lots of options of suits and styles. Would definitely recommend.

The service you receive here is second to non. I'm a fat old wrinkly looking for a dinner suit and we couldn't have got better service. I got my suit for a really good price, and that included the alterations that were needed. Will definately go back. Thank you

Went in looking for a new 3 piece suit. Received excellent service from start. Was measured correctly for my suit size. And then shown the range of suits. On selecting the one I wanted the assistant quickly selected the individual items which fitted perfectly first time. I needed a shirt which I was again measured for and was recommended a different size and fit which I wouldn’t have chosen myself but fitted so perfectly. Also got a tie to match. The service was great and personable, and I ended with a great fitting suit at a great price. Would recommend anyone looking for a suit or jacket to try here, saved loads of time.

Bought a new suit on Saturday and it was a totally pleasant experience from the moment I entered the store. Staff where professional and very knowledgeable about their range. They are a credit to there employer and they should be proud of the employees in the Basingstoke store.

Went looking for a suit to wear to a wedding. Excellent service from Morgan who found a great suit in the right size for me plus matching tie. Thanks also to her colleague who found a pair of Green shoes to match. I don't enjoy shopping, but today I did!!!

Went in for my first suit, fantastic customer service and very knowledgeable staff. We were served by Harrison and he definitely knows his stuff. Will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10

The customer service was great and they all had a laugh while being very helpful. The suits and accessories are excellent, good condition and great prices. We had the incredible fortune and pleasure of dealing with Slaters Basingstoke for our new years eve wedding 2022. Our 'account manager' was Harrison Perrins who was absolutely incredible through the whole process. Harrison could not of made the whole process anymore enjoyable. We had a range of ages and sizes for suit hire, shirts, shoes and belts but nothing was too much trouble. Because of my indecisiveness, we ended up seeing Harrison around 8 times and not once did it seem a problem. Our outfits were commented on all day and really were exactly how we imagined.

Big thanks to Josh at Basingstoke for sorting out a tricky order. Needed 5 suits to be sent to 4 separate stores. Good communication, excellent value for money and no one tried to hard sell us.

The shop gets very busy at weekends and I would strongly recommend getting there during the week if you can.
