Dol Llan Mansion

Very calm and nice location with a whirl pool and fields close by. Andy the host is very kind and caring, presenting a very thoughtful breakfast and hospitable environment. Would recommend for weekend getaways or as layover during a road trip.

Needed a relaxing escape and totally found it. The garden was tranquil and I spent hours just watching the sky, listening to the wildlife and horses and relaxing in solitude. A pagoda to sit in comfort and shelter with the fountain trickling away quietly in the corner, garden in full foliage and we'll maintained. Laid out to be hidden away from view yet plenty of colour and wildlife in view.

The hot tub was clean, the area we'll set out and well thought out with extremely clean changing rooms so no traipsing through the hotel if you didn't want to in hot tub clobber.

Catered for dietary requirements without quibble, excellent produce used and pleasant dinning atmosphere.

The room was exceptional, clean and again well thought out.

Five star luxury, friendly welcome from Andy and he's out of sight but available as needed (I needed to be away from people lol).

As a party of four we arrived on Friday afternoon. After being met by Kate and Andy, we were given two amazing rooms/suites which were incredibly spotless and roomy. One had a separate sitting room and the other had a humongous separate bathroom.
We had arranged for a meal at the mansion for us all, plus another couple on Friday night. This was presented and served absolutely beautifully. Kate and Andy did the catering, which was no mean feat as there were several different options chosen. We had 3 courses with wine and beer when requested, and everything was exceptional. Andy even took our guests home after the meal as they lived in the village. What a star!!
Our breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday left no room for lunch. Cereal, toast, croissants, tea and coffee, not to mention a menu of cooked options ranging from eggs Benedict to a full Welsh breakfast (vegetarian option also available).
We have stayed at the mansion before lockdown and will definitely return.

A very warm and friendly welcome. A fabulous place to stay, the quality of the accommodation, bed linen, pillows and food were superb. Kate and Andy were very attentive and it was clear they wanted us to relax and enjoy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue for any occasion as I believe that Kate and Andy would rise to any challenge. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely return, and I look forward to visiting Kate and Andy at Dol Llan Mansion again.

It's a really nice place. Well looked after and the people who run it are really sweet. There's a pub and shops near by and the house is amazing!! The hot tub is a bonus!! Would definitely recommend to anyone when the weather is good ☀ 😎

Great to get out for decent meal after all this time. Food was great and very generous portions. Very quaint pod set up in garden next to jacuzzi which was part of the deal. Lovely evening.

Lovely place. Great place to relax in luxury. The food and the hosts make it such a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants that little bit extra class and comfort.

unbelievable amazing fantastic the very best hotel i have ever stayed in 5 stars are not enough 10 stars would be more like it the hosts are the very best the suite was spacious and comfortable our stay was top class i did not want to leave but i will be back i feel sorry for the competition because this whole experience is unbeatable thank you for looking after us making us laugh but must of all for making us feel at home thank you phil and astella

Just went there 2 deliver a bed but found the place nicely tucked away the man who met us was really nice and pleasant when I went it was raining but I think if you want private quiet break it would b perfect wish I could go

Mansion is beautiful, room was wonderful, setting idyllic and hosts were amazing!

Friends were staying here for a night, we joined them for an evening meal which was excellent.

It was the best. We loved the food and hospitality.... high tea with an extra touch
