Great service at oakengates carpets, sales people were keen to help us out and they were cheaper than almost all the other businesses in the local area. carpet was fitted within just over half a day and the quality of the work completed is fantastic. would recommend 5/5 stars +

We have used Oakengates Carpets many times now (at each of our own previous homes, at our new home and at rental properties for tenants). They are amazing!! Great selection of quality hard floors and carpets and the fitters work for them rather than being contracting out, which always gives me piece of mind about the fitters in my opinion. Their prices may seem higher per m2 but they include the fitting, which makes it so much easier to compare when you’re choosing.
Please don’t be out off by the shop looking a bit run down - best carpet company in town!

Great local company friendly efficient service good quality carpets

I bought vinyl for my kitchen diner & utility from oakengates carpets. The gentleman I saw in the shop were really helpful & extremely patient. We found one we liked & placed the order. I then changed my mind 🙄 but this wasn't a problem at all. We found a new one.
Fitting was equally as easy & quick. 2 men came and did a fabulous job. A bubble appeared, I just rang up and it was sorted the same day. Can't recommend highly enough

Went to see Andrew through a close recommendation, after visiting a few other shops. Was never in any doubt after the first meeting that we would be ordering from here. We ordered 2 types of carpets for the bedrooms and they were fitted in approx 3 weeks which was perfect for us. Both carpets were fitted super fast by the guys and they were very friendly and pleasant.
We deliberated on the lounge and stairs for a few weeks but eventually opted for a local manufacturer, Victoria carpets from kidderminster. Oakengates carpets were again more than happy to place the order and we had the carpets fitted only waiting 4 weeks. Again this was perfect for us to prepare and empty the rooms.
Fitting on the day went exceptionally well. The guys dealt with door carpet trims, door adjustment and the whole job was completed in a morning.
Very pleased with the service, professionalism, the products chosen and most importantly the friendly nature of Andrew. Reminds me of good old fashioned "Made in England" service...a pleasure to deal with.

Recently had our upstairs fitted and the team did a great job it looks very smart. Advice in store was very helpful. Defiantly recommend here if your thinking about replacing your carpets.

My partner visited and chose the carpet for stairs & landing..
They managed to fit it earlier than the original date.

Ordered carpet for hall, landing and three bedrooms, told 3 weeks, delivered on time, fitters outstanding.
