Fresh makeover, ideally situated sports bar. Friendly staff,reasonable prices. Highly recommended Edit Oct 23.
Year has passed The Jockey goes from strength to strength. Great Sports bar / Pub with a friendly all welcome mantra. Well worth a visit

Only ever had basic food so 5/5 as I'm still alive!
Service was always with a smile and always happy to conversate so again 5/5.
And I recently spent New Years Eve there travelling from Leicester...there was a group of 40 from Scotland that travelled down and they were brilliant, especially the bagpipe player who gave us a couple renditions as well as playing the New Year out.
Karaoke/Disco/Singers were brilliant too.
Never had a bad time here so again Atmosphere 5/5.
Oh and Lewis remember I'm 5-0 up on pool on the night 👍😉

Great little pub,with a great atmosphere,staff are lovely and welcoming.They have karaoke/acts on at weekends.Really enjoyed it.Highly recommended.😉👌

Not long moved to the area. Good prices on lagers. A very clean and friendly pub. Staff are very welcoming.

Fantastic atmosphere staff really friendly. The best pint of John Smiths I've had in Vegas baby. Not eaten there as yet so can't comment. Have some brilliant entertainment through the days and karaoke in the evening.

Nice place....only popped in for a drink...me a latte and family member a glass of wine topped with lemonade...haven't eaten here so can't comment.
There was no sport on when we went in tho cos wer not sports fans...altho I no they do have usually wen its happening....there's 4 TVs inside! They had 80s music on wen we went in.
There's a snooker table inside. You can fit in with a scooter too.

Nice place, first time being in there.

Had a great evening Saturday £2.50 a pint for Heineken Silver , beautifuly kept pint and saved the long walk to Buddy's Bar at those prices . Keep it up folks 🍺👍

We came across this pub by chance, we were very happy we decided to pop in,place is clean,staff are friendly and prices are good too,we watched the entertainment in the beer garden for an hour or so and we enjoyed every minute of it

Like this for a afternoon drink to get the weekend started, nice decor and a reasonable choice of drinks

Great value, great food, good portion size. Great atmosphere, just don't sit near the speakers if they have a live act! We had to move tables as it was too loud!

Brilliant venue with friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Not been open for long beer and lager cheaper than the other pubs karaoke Friday night is a must from 1800 till whenever give the jockey a try great outside seating for the good weather

Didnt have food here but the staff are very friendly very welcoming atmosphere would definately recommend
