This was an amazing venue to go climbing at, where me and my friend were checked in promptly at the reception desk. The walls have a strong variety, including diagonal, curved and high vertical ones. Holes prove suitable for gaging difficulty levels; I moved on the blue ones after the earlier holes and found the skills had come for these!

Really enjoy the setting style at this gym. The setting tends to be a bit more 'traditional' and less compy when compared to Armley depot.

Theres a good variety of wall angles, including a decent amount of horizontal roof.

The gym space is really small but has pretty much everything you need apart from an olympic weight bar. The climbing however more than makes up for the small gym space.

Would highly recommend.

Excellent climbing gym, the staff and crowd are great - there's a real, friendly community of climbers here. It can get a little tight at busy times, but there's always an empty wall to climb. Spent many happy evenings here with friends over the years.

been climbing with depot pudsey for 4 years now on the Nibas classes and recommend this for anyone who wants their kids to get into a sport. All the staff are great and welcoming and in particular Vicky is great at getting all the kids involved and pushing them to climb as hard as they can.

Really like the sets here, they flow well and have a variety for all skills, good training room and good use of space for the amount of bouldering you can do here

Have a wicked session every time I go here. Loads of good angles and arêtes, and good, interesting, hard setting.

It is a bit old school here. I much prefer the pull hard style training style here vs the more modern comp style at Armley, but obviously that’s a matter of preference.

I guess it starts to feel a little grungy, but I really hope they don’t try to modernise it. So many interesting angels and features, it’s really quite unique. Would be a shame to lose the character.

I do also enjoy visiting the other Leeds depots, but Pudsey is probably my favourite.

Good coffee and friendly staff too

I've been climbing for four months or so now, sometimes with my daughter (6) at her Rock Tots lessons, other times on my own, and we've always had fantastic experiences. It's absolutely my favourite place to climb in Leeds.

The staff are great - friendly and helpful, and always happy to offer tips and advice about specific problems when they've got time to.

It can get busy, but I've never found myself waiting too long, as I have some other places.

There's a great variety of problems for beginners - the greens and whites here are certainly set more imaginatively than the easy problems at some other places I've been to in Leeds.

The Rock Tots lessons are absolutely brilliant - my daughter constantly talks about climbing now, she's stronger, has better balance and more self-confidence. I really would recommend it to any parent.

I really like this place. First of all, it is my go to shop to buy new shoes when I don't buy them online, with great advice and supply. In addition, the climbing setting is really good. I really like the circular board to improve stamina. They also have a nice cafe. Their gym area is limited in regular gym equipment but then again, this is a climbing gym. I would appreciate a nice place for stretching, maybe with some yoga mats available.

Really nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly. You were required to wear masks when not in the climbing area. They do sell masks so there is no issues. They also rent out climbing shoes. They do special deals at certain times/days where they provide shoes and training. Definitely recommend.

Really good wall, friendly staff and locals. I suppose I'm giving this review as a regular climber (although just not at this particular wall). That said, India notice they had lots of activities for kids and beginners. I did the summer comp circuit and the problems were really good, powerful and strenuous. It was quite an ask to get all 30 completed in one session and had to settle for 28, so if this is a one off visit for you, you'll not run out of stuff to do! The coffee was cheap and good, as was the cake. We briefly explored the shop but I didn't really pay attention as it was only a quick look. But, they have one and there was plenty of stock! There was a reasonable amount of parking outside the centre and it looked like if that was full there were plenty of other options nearby.

Part of the Depot group. This one is a little smaller than the one at Armley but still as well organised and laid out.

Relaxed and welcoming bouldering wall with plenty of space and variety. Community is good and friendly, routes are revised often enough to keep things fresh but not so fast you can't work on a meaty problem.

I come here quite often and always can find something interesting to do, you have routes for all levels to choose. Kids are welcome here, you can have a good coffee and a snack, also there is a small indoor shop with all gear you need to boulder, changing rooms and lockers. 45° boards, rooftops and nice walls with different angles. Love the place, odd parking though.

Depot Pudsey is great, can't recommend more. Got a good compact bouldering area and a really nice friendly atmosphere. Had a membership at the depot for two years and well worth it. Staff are always happy to help and friendly.

Really enjoy the range of climbs and variety of challenge that the different coloured grading system offers. There are lots of helpful staff members that are ready to support if needed as well as a Ladies night on Wednesday and open coaching on Fridays. A great climbing venue for all.

The best around! Getting very busy these days due to its popularity but don't let that put you off. Plenty of problems through the grades and regular resets. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Plus great coffee and pizza on Fridays!

Top notch bouldering centre that isn't snobbish when it comes to dealing with newbies. They do a lot of kids stuff too as well as hardcore stuff like competitions and ongoing challenges. Routes are regularly and consistently updated. Staff are friendly, coffee and cakes are exceptional and changing room/toilet are very well kept.
