I was staying at the Woodland Waters centre and my car wouldn't start. I phoned the garage and we concluded it was probably the starter motor, which would cost £220 to sort. I left the car with them and later that morning they called me to say the car was fixed and it was only the sensor on the clutch. The bonus was this was only £40 to put right. It's been fine ever since. Many thanks.

I ride a bike. On a cold day, I was asked to remove my helmet. It was done politely by the cashier (hence the second star) because they once had a biker drive off without paying. For context, they have had many car drivers drive off. Obviously costing the owner a great deal more each time.
I resent being branded like this. Also, on a cold day, it takes a while to wrap up warmly. Is that a problem? No. Inconvenient? Certainly. When I am just trying to purchase fuel, I don’t want to be insulted like this.
If a redhead drove off would you harass all redheads?
