Woodsorrel Barn Holiday Cottage

Had an amazing stay here at Woodsorrel Barn. Gorgeous property, very well looked after by the owners who are lovely. The barn is huge for 6 people, so plenty of space for all, and the outdoor seating overlooking the pond and gardens was perfect on warm days.The log burner was fabulous on the cooler evenings. The location itself is very quiet and the barn is very private. We have visited a lot of cottages and this one really was perfect for a relaxing break away. Thanks Trev,Paula and Ozzie we will definitely be back! 😁

Woodsorrel Barn is without doubt one of the nicest places that my family and I have stayed at in recent years. The barn itself is newly renovated/updated and has all the little details that one could want for a luxurious stay. The hosts, Paula and Trevor, are attentive, but know when to leave you to yourself and your own privacy. The location is also beautiful - great countryside for walking and close enough to both Chester and Shrewsbury for a day-trip.

We’ve just returned from a week spent at Wood Sorrel Barn and have nothing but praise for it. The Barn itself is lovely, clean, cosy, well equipped and presented. We admired many of the design features as well as the artwork on show. The garden is a pleasure to be in. The welcome pack was welcome!
If there was a problem Trev got on to it immediately.
As one of our party had shielded for sometime it was important that we should feel secure there, we did.

Paula is an amazing host, most welcoming with great attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble.The standard throughout the accommodation was fabulous with super comfortable beds and top quality linens making it an exquisite stay.

What an absolutely gorgeous place. I spent a weekend at Woodsorrel with a group of friends and it was perfect. The owners are very friendly and we had everything we could have wished for. We are hoping to return as soon as we can.

A fantastic location, extremely friendly hosts and somewhere that we’re looking forward to staying again. Ideally located for exploring the local area including Shrewsbury and Chester which are both beautiful.
