Fiona Hackshall Wedding Cakes

We knew that Fiona was destined to be our cake maker when almost the exact design we had in mind was one of the display cakes she had unknowingly put aside to show us! The tasting was relaxed and delicious, and Fiona kindly gave me some samples to take home for my partner who was unable to attend. The cake was absolutely delicious – I am still fantasizing about the icing! – and looked so beautiful. The process was simple and Fiona was responsive and most importantly of all gave us an incredible wedding cake!

We cannot thank Fiona enough, right from the very 1st meeting we knew we had picked the most amazing and talented cake artist!!

Just to add a little more stress to Fiona, not only did we ask her to make a 4 tier cake but also to design a dessert table!! The dessert table looked amazing and tasted even better.

The cake had an amazing wow factor and is the best cake we have ever tasted!! Fiona, you truly are an amazing cake artist and have so much talent. We cannot thank you enough for creating all our little cakes and our Wedding Cake. Words will never describe how you made us feel when we saw the cake.

Our guests are still commenting now about how amazing the desserts and cake were!!

Fiona did our wedding cake recently and we couldn’t be happier. Not only did it taste fantastic, it looked incredible. We asked for a little twist to be added (our German shepherd was made into a small icing figure and was seen to be eating the cake), Fiona didn’t fail and we all loved it. A perfect touch.

What can we say about Fiona!!! Truly amazing at what she does! Fiona made our wedding cake in June 2022 and absolutely got it spot on making our dream cake. From the minute we first spoke, to the sample boxes (amazing) and the first time we met, Fiona was a joy to work with. Her cake firstly is amazing - by far the nicest we tried and our guests LOVED IT. We went for four different flavours, and there are so many to choose from! Each of them were stunning - we were blown away. And wow, when we first saw the cake on our wedding day, it was beyond perfect!!! It looked so beautiful. Our daughters ordered us a surprise Afternoon Tea for our 25th Wedding Anniversary today. Fiona delivered the nicely packaged treats. The sandwich selection, scones and cakes were tasty and very fresh, using lovely local ingredients! I would definitely recommend Fiona’s fabulous Afternoon Teas for a celebration or a treat!!

While our cake erred more on the traditional side, there were a few quirks that we wanted thrown in! From the moment we met Fiona, we knew that we were in the very best of hands. Fiona took our cake dreams and made them into the most beautiful and delicious reality. Fiona was a joy to work with, so communicative and helpful (and totally unphased by some of our more random requests). The cake was a triumph and so much more than we had hoped for.
