Whitchurch Marina - ABC Leisure Group Ltd.

An excellent opportunity to travel by narrow boat along our delightful canals. It was peaceful, calm, and very relaxing. The staff service was very good, and we were provided with a good level of information, instruction, and tips to get the most of our day. The boat was very clean, and tidy, with all necessary comforts available. I don't think we have seen so much wildlife and so close up. We will definitely be going again.

We have had an absolutely glorious day on a day hire. Warm welcome from knowledgeable and friendly staff. A cracking little boat with everything we needed. We took the advice of where to turn and had plenty of time to enjoy the cruise with a stop off for a walk and lunch. Highly recommend and we will definitely be booking again. Roo and Chris (and Kayleigh the dog)

Absolutely fantastic . Beautiful boats in a beautiful location. 4 night break. Managed to get to the aqueduct near Llangollen before turning around.
Not many pubs on the route so take plenty of stock. Two tunnels ,a few lift bridges and two aqueduct and only two locks so perfect for beginners and you get to experience everything you could wish to see.

Rented a day boat from abc boat hire had a fantastic time and would recommend it to anyone. The boat was brilliant and clean and stocked with all the items you’d need.

A canal boat trip on tbe Llangollen canal over a 126' high aquaduct, through tunnels, working the draw bridges and locks is an unforgettable experience!

Great day out on day boat.
Boat was clean and ideally laid out for the day with open air seating up front for the family and inside cooker, fridge and toilet.
Family really enjoyed the day out and wildlife on the canal.
Marina team were very friendly and helpful.

Brilliant trip loved it and so did the dogs too would definitely recommend

Cracking site, your in the marina right next to canal & boats, second time we bin, short walk to Whitchurch, aldi across the road, McDonald's, Costa, fuel, just over roundabout

Very nice moored up for about 3 hrs and had lunch nice little town.

What an amazing place clean tidy well kept and all staff go over and above tthe call of duty to make your stay a good one its close to amenities and all you could need is close at hand i would recommend this sight to anyone and would certainly use it again its well worth its 5stars

What a brilliant day, would happily give the experience 6 stars!!!! We booked a day trip canal boat hire; the people were great, the boat was lovely and we had a fab time.
The chap that looked after us could not have been more friendly, efficient and professional; he didn't even seem to mind when we got the boat stuck, made him come out to rescue us, then got it unstuck just as he arrived!!! Or if he did mind he didn't show it..... I think his name was John (apologies if that's wrong), but he was faultless, absolutely lovely!!!
The facilities are great and the boat was spotless, well equipped, easy to use/drive/sail!?!?!? Plenty big enough for the 7 people in our group.
Probably the best use of £99 I can ever remember, despite the weather!!! Book it now, it's ACE!!!

Whitchurch marina helped up out with issues we were having with our narrowboat.
They were so helpful and friendly both ladies
on reception I spoke with of whom I do not know their names we're very kind and helpful.
Jason the manager was so helpful and went above and beyond to help us out as we were very new to boating and they rescued us when we were stranded and brought our boat to safety, fixed the boat and was very honest and fair in fee's.
Also Richard did some work on our boat he was brilliant.
What a lovely man.

Would recommend their services to anyone!

Had a wonderful stay,staff very helpful and friendly,great location,wonderful walks along the canal,lovely and clean,it’s a working marina so lots going on,yes road is a little busy but didn’t bother us,will definitely be going back

We hired a day boat for our family day out to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff were very helpful and the boat was well equipped to a higher standard than we expected for a day boat. Thank you for making our special day even more special. We will definitely return for longer next time.

Just had a 5 night stay at this little site on the canal.
Toilet and shower were clean and tidy.very relaxing watching canal boats go by, Aldi, Greggs 2 min walk cafe @29 35 min walk Horse and Jockey pub (great food) 40 min, Whitchurch town centre 25 min away all access via canal path, all in all a great 5 day stay.
