Villa Marina is in a spectacular location, situated on the tip of Roa Island on the Furness Peninsula. On a high tide the sea surrounds the property which is amazing to see.
The ever changing views with the ebb and flow of the tide is fascinating.
Watching the sea birds and the occasional yacht is very relaxing.
Beautiful gardens surround the Villa with plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the view.
Villa Marina is great for groups and families to get together, it is furnished to a high standard with everything you will need.
There are lots of communal spaces but you can still find your own quiet spot.
It is a unique place and very magical.

A beautiful well furnished house right on the shore of Morecambe Bay with outstanding views across the Bay , there are five bedrooms , two lounges , one down stairs one up stairs a large kitchen which includes an Aga and conventional hob and oven , there is a jacuzzi bath in one of the ensuite bedrooms .one of the bedrooms looks out onto the Bay and has a balcony where you can sit and take in the views , there is one double bedroom downstairs. A hot tub is situated in the massive garden . There is a very comfortable sunroom adjacent to the kitchen area plus the kitchen area also has very comfortable seating , again with great views. If you have any issues there is a number provided to speak to the maintenance man direct and he will help with any issues that may occur. The house is situated at the end of a causeway on Roa Island and is only a 10 minute drive to the centre of Barrow . There is a cafe next door and Clarks Hotel about 1 mile away in Rampside , we had a meal there and it was excellent. There is private parking for 3 or 4 cars at the house. All in all we had a great week and I would definitely recommend it.

Staying at the Villa Marina House on Roa Island, currently still here and we must say it is amazing, House is very clean, has loads of amenities within, hot tub out on the back yard is Braw! But the best of all is the views......just stunning. We will up date on more once we have got back home. Loving the break so far. 🥃

Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful inside. Old world charm done to perfection. And outside....oh wow. Birdsong. Cold (COLD) water swimming. Snow covered hills in the distance....and so quiet. Wonderful.
