We enjoyed the meal only negative . They tried to charge us for three dessert when we only had two, but they were happy to take it off the bill, no quibbles.
Definitely go again.

We have enjoyed the food there and also the service wasn't bad either. Perhaps my fish sauce was slightly too rich for me, but everything else was really good so 5 stars.

My wife and i were looking for somewhere to eat on a sunday , they kindly squeezed us in at short notice , as soon as we were in the pub it was obvious it was a friendly family run pub , we were spoilt for choice off the menu , but went with our favourites , steak and kidney pudding ( mens size ) which was superb and the lasagne which were both lovely home cooked meals , highly recommended .

To say somewhere is very good or excellent or great food are regular platitudes but the Crown transcends normal descriptions. The management make sure you are comfortable and the food is on time and to your liking plus it tastes superb. Too many nice words? Well try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.

Exceptionally good food for a Sunday roast. Big portions, meat cooked exactly to order, perfectly cooked vegetables and sides. Very well trained friendly staff and a really reasonable price. Deservedly busy but not too noisy either.

Had a few meals at this establishment and all were superb. Service was good in all departments the staff couldn't be more attentive. Great selection of ales served. If you in the area you must try this place.

Lovely staff, delicious food, generous portions, and cozy atmosphere. It's become a regular destination when we're visiting from America. Always a lovely time!

Excellent meal. Friendly staff. Very busy due to valentines day. I really enjoyed myself. It was my birthday too and I was pleased to be given an ice-cream birthday cake!

What an amazing pub. We ate here on Valentine's Day so it was very busy and still the food was absolutely first class and the service was spot on. This is a must-do pub if you are nearby. Well done chef and the team

Just had the most amazing meal, cooked to perfection. The staff are really professional and friendly. The evening was absolutely lovely, we was celebrating my Husband's Birthday and it was just perfect. Thank you to all the staff, you're a real credit to the restaurant.
There's also a brilliant choice of Gluten Free meals too xx

Brilliant Banningham.
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Friendly and warm welcome from all the staff, very clean venue with excellent covid protocols, we felt very safe. The service was spot on, this is a very well run establishment. The food was outstanding, absolutely gorgeous tasty & piping hot, I'm sure our plates didn't need washing they were so clean! The menu is extensive and it was difficult to choose, with additional daily chefs specials to boot. I would highly recommend this pub and look forward to going here again. It has a large car park, an outdoor children's play area, they allow dogs & there's plenty of room for large groups. All this set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Outstanding. I would also recommend booking in advance as not to be disappointed, especially with large groups. Oh & they also have live music & comedy gigs etc.
Whats not to love!

Fantastic food and service at this beautiful 17th century pub. We had the chicken supreme, steak & kidney suet pudding plus chicken skewers. Followed by chocolate mousse, brownie and Belgium waffle. Delicious!

Excellent roast beef lunch for me and the superb steak and kidney pudding for the wife. All enjoyed in a comfortable restaurant. Coupled with efficient and friendly service, it made for a very enjoyable New Years Day afternoon. This was our second time we have had lunch here and it won't be our last.

Great food, beautiful pub, staff were excellent and great customer service. I finally remembered to take some photos. Chicken Supreme, Pork Stroganoff, Vegetarian Burger and Jacket Potato, presentation 👍👍

Amazing valentines set meal, everything from starters to the hand-made truffles were totally amazing. Staff, great friendly and attentive attention to detail in every way, very impressed

We were recommended the Banningham Crown by our host at a nearby holiday accommodation. It was a good recommendation because the food was delicious and the range of drinks was good. The service was polite but due to the pub being quite busy the service was somewhat uncoordinated at times. Would definitely visit again for food.

Popped in here for a drink on Good Friday and it was a lovely cosy pub. The fire was on and the staff were friendly too. We haven’t eaten here but the menu looked great and will look to eat here in the future

Used Banningham Crown for a get-together following a funeral. Staff were pleasant, helpful, and respectful . Food was plentiful and tasty, with a lot of it being homemade. They also catered for dairy and gluten-free. Would definitely go there again
