The Café Terrace

Come in for a cuppa regularly now, on my way to work. Owner is always friendly and chatty with the customers, really nice guy. Don't normally have food in the morning, maybe the odd morning snack, but did have food here some few weeks ago and it was really nice.

This is a really great sandwich shop and also does very good cooked breakfast. It has been owned and run by Tim, who is very friendly. Good food and the coffee is great! Free parking right outside the door - well worth a visit

Great cafe - so so friendly and excellent coffee (best in the village) and bacon sandwiches - we come in regularly as a group and always feel very welcome!

Great friendly Cafe reasonably priced and top quality ingredients. I usually have a breakfast roll from here every Friday and it never disappoints, top quality sausage and the egg is still runny just the way I like it (all messy).

Breakfast was great. Despite no vegetarian breakfast on the menu, they were very accommodating and put a veggie breakfast together.

The food came out quickly and the coffee was good too!

Good value for money and tasty. Had a nice old natter with the boss. The sausage baps are cheaper, tastier and probably a lot healthier than the Rustlers pish that I was getting for breakfast from the local Tesco!

THE best chocolate brownie I've ever had (5 stars for that!!). I had to go back and buy a second for the following day and express my gratitude to the staff.

Yes it's a café in the middle of a row of shops but their coffee is great (experience coffee drinker) excellent baps and rolls etc. (I can't live without food, I think I am addicted to it😎) very friendly staff cap it all off beautifully. Ignore where it is and enjoy their honest fare!

I had a fantastic coffee with superb brie & ham toasties. Excellent service from the young chap behind the counter.

A pleasant surprise. Doesn't look like much from outside but staff are friendly, it's nice inside and the coffee is great!

The staff here are both ridiculously helpful and knowledgeable - excellent coffee, probably the best in Hook. Breakfast was good and items were swapped around to cater​ for my picky diet without quibble.

Excellent full English breakfast using local quality produce. As a local this is a regular stop for my coffee. Brilliant service so happy to recommend!
