Mark and his team always offer a warm welcome with professional knowledge and advice. They manage to source some interesting and rare wines at reasonable prices. I always enjoy my visits and purchases to match food purchased at Newlands Farm Shop. An ideal paring. River also enjoys his visits!

I love the entire team at Caviste, extremely knowledgable, they listen and try to understand your tastes, even if you aren’t a wine connoisseur yourself- I am not! I got an intriguing selection of Portuguese and English red wines from Caviste, including a Touriga National blend and a single variety Baga from Portugal and a single variety Rondo from England. Super friendly and helpful advice. Bill is knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about wine. 5 out of 5 stars!

I always go and see Peter Gentilli at the Newlands Farmshop. Peter is a great listener and takes time to understand what you're looking to drink and why before making a suggestion; thus far Peter has always come up trumps with the most wonderful suggestions and a wine perfect for the occasion. Great customer service and a clear passion for wine that is infectious!

They get it right every time! A great selection of wine and Bill's recommendations are always spot on. Thanks to Bill I've become a regular customer and have booked on to some of their wine tasting evenings. Looking forward to picking up my next selection!

First visit today. Exactly what a wine merchants should be - selection, price range etc. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and made some great recommendations Ethan was a real star.

Not knowing a lot about wine, I asked for a mixed box of red wine on Wednesday. Today Friday I received my box, all done by internet. Thanks Cavista for friendly advice and excellent service can recommend your company to anyone who enjoys wine

I managed to secure the last four bottles of Marquis des Beys having been given a bottle for my birthday. It is a stunning wine from Lebanon and the next vintage is due shortly.

Excellent local wine merchant with a passion for bubbly and good contact with the growers in Bouzy!

Our first visit and to begin with it went well. I was disgusted when the chap that served my father 5 minutes earlier and took payment then asked him if he was going to leave without paying for the bottle of wine. My Father confirmed he had paid but they didn’t believe him until they scrolled through the till. It was embarrassing and insulting to my father, who is the most honest person. They made excuses saying they had not had lunch or drank any water. That is none of my business how the employees are treated, but how I and my father are treated as customers is. Not sure I would return. Tip to customers, get your wine wrapped and a receipt unless you want to be accused of stealing!!!!

I was accused of walking out with a bottle of wine when I already had paid 5 minutes previously. So make sure you get proof of payment.
