Absolutely delighted by the plants but more importantly the quality of the follow up service. Our purple pumpkin was the only one of x12 plants, we ordered, that took a beating in transit and despite expert nurturing didn’t pull through. Reported the sad loss to south Devon chilli farm and received x2 replacements at no cost in perfect condition within x2 days of reporting the tragic incident. Good work people, very pleased with our new project.

Our first time visiting. A really lovely setup and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable. As a rookie grower the gentleman we spoke to was able to give us plenty of advise and we left with several new plants. I hadn’t realised how local the farm was - our first visit but certainly not our last!

Very friendly staff as well as owner. Able to taste most chillies but please avoid the Reaper. I suffered from tasting this but the staff was very helpful by giving me fresh milk and some chocolates to ease the pain. Owner is from Trinidad and very knowledgeable.

Had a great time here.
They have a excellent variety available of plants to buy and a shop of ready to go jars and bottles of everything you would expect to see, staff were helpful and there were samples to try, overall well worth a visit

Bought four different types of chilli seeds from The South Devon Chilli Farm. They arrived very promptly and all varieties germinated near perfectly. Would definitely recommend!

Very much enjoyed my South Devon Chilli Farm workshop today. Really great to see how the farm works and expand on my chilli knowledge (even got to pot a lot of chillies) Phill and the rest of the time were fantastic and looked after us. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Only recently discovered these guys and already made three orders. Was going to be two but Reapers on special offer what are you going to do ;)

All orders promptly dispatched and arrived in perfect condition. Will definitely be back next season to try the varieties I'm not growing or not growing well

Absolutely incredible place. If you go in the summer (late July until early September) they do a free (no tickets required) tour of the whole farm at 11:30am - well worth doing, and followed by an (optional) chilli eating challenge, all from their own farm, picked that day, and often finishing with the Carolina Reaper.

Our tour guide, Patrick, was amazing - super enthusiastic, very knowledgable (he is one of the main people working there), and really friendly.

They also have a great farm cafe and shop, with a really lovely outdoor area to eat (as well as an indoor area).

You can also buy chilli plants and seeds should you wish. I would definitely recommend going.

I saw this place had just reopened so called in while touring in the area and certainly wasn't disappointed, its under new ownership . There is something for everyone; chilli based produce like jellies and sauces etc, plants so you can grow chillies yourself or for purely ornamental purposes, seeds to raise plants yourself. I particularly enjoyed the produce tasting station. Having now returned home I know I will be purchasing more items online.

Highly recommended. We visited (family of four) and had fun learning about chillies and sampling the jams and chocolates. The staff were very friendly and even gave my ten year old a glass of milk when he "over-stretched" on his chilli sampling spice levels. They also do food. It is small and so this is a great place to build into a trip to local beaches and sights.

Found it all very interesting and well presented. Amazing range of chilli plants and seeds for sale as well as chilli products of every kind.
Must products have tasting pots by them but beware the "extreme" range I advise to taste these products last as it's hard to taste the milder products after having an extreme (personal experience)

Visited in May - what a lovely place! So much advice from the lovely staff - we went away with a chilli plant which has produced all through the summer and we’ve enjoyed it so much! Thoroughly recommend 😃

A really great place.
The staff are passionate, knowledgeable and friendly.
The gardens are free to visit and showcase and impressive array of chilli plants.
The cafe is brilliant, you must check out the savoury cream tea with chilli jam!
Finally, the shop is just fantastic... you can very easily spend A LOT of money on loads of quality chilli related food/items.
A must visit in Devon. I look forward to coming back!
