Rented their camper van for the week. Price was very competitive and the staff were all very friendly. Service was quick and attentive. Certainly be using them again if I need another camper in Scotland! The van was in great condition and came with all the bells and whistles you'd need for a van.

We hired the 4 berth VW van over the Summer, which was in immaculate condition. The customer service was fantastic, pick up and drop off was easy and hassle free. We had a brilliant family holiday in it, taking in all the sights of the highlands. It was also super economical. We will 100% be hiring from 5th gear again. Thanks!

Hired a 6 berth motorhome for our summer holiday and had great service from start to finish. Smooth booking process, great handover on the day of collection with lots of detail and handy tips. Good van/caravan/horse box hire for good money

We hired one of the Horse boxes for a show as our horse is very difficult to load and the option to self hire a 3.5 tonne box for the day was a blessing and meant no rushing horse on or off. The horse box was complete luxury from the internal and external cameras so you can watch your horse full journey from dashboard screen. Lovely to drive and full leather interior, large jockey box at back to change in, loads of storage, side loader, air con and more! The list is endless. To top it all we transported 2 large 17HH horses with complete ease and didn’t even need to power wash or clean it all out after using as that is all part of this amazing companies service! Lifted the poo and shavings then drop back. Very easy booking system and brilliant service. Definitely be using this again, thanks again. Elise and Bailey :-)

We have used 5th gear for a good few years for my husbands courier business. The team are fantastic and go out of their way to help when we need to hire at short notice. Cant reccomend enough.

The 5th Gear hire process was very easy from the initial call to Gillian in customer services right through to returning the vehicle. Gillian recommended the use of the Luton with tail lift. This made the moving process so much earlier and faster. The vehicle was ready for me to collect at the time agreed, it was clean and in great condition. Got a £5K 4x4 from these guys deciding not to take out a 6 month warranty to save money. Clutch was changed by them before pick up despite me not even noticing any clutch slip on the test drive! A week later had a problem with the propshaft which they repaired free of charge while giving me a courtesy car. Airbag sensor had come on in this time so they replaced and a sensor also. Way more conscientious than most other dealers I have experienced in the past and will use again.

I bought my van from 5th Gear a month ago. The van was and it is still in superb condition has not any hidden problems drives very well.
They have excellent customer care, kept me updated and everything happaned as they promised. I am thinking of buy a car so I have no hesitation to use 5th Gear again. Strongly recommended!
