Camped with our camper trailer for a week in July '23, mixed weather but the site was first class... warm, clean reliable showers, composting toilets were straightforward to use with next to no smells, site on semi wild with mowed pitches, cooking and eating shelters, stunning countryside, superb.

Myself, family and friends had an amazing weekend camping here. The campsite has something for everyone. It’s very relaxing with the open space and great views. The glamping tents were amazing and had everything needed. The kids play areas where enjoyed by all the children of different ages. The toilets and showers where clean and the showers can be as hot or cold as you like them. From the campsite we took a day trip to New Quay beach which was again chilled and well worth the short drive. We will definitely be back again.

We stayed at Firecrest for a weekend with some friends and our little ones ranging from 1year to 3 years old. The campsite was immaculate and such a beautiful setting. The tent we stayed in was a 4 man bell tent and it was comfy and had all the equipment we needed for an enjoyable stay with our little boy who we put in a travel cot but there was the double mattress which we slept on which was nice and comfy and two futons which we didn't use other than to sit on.
The compost toilets were well maintained and cleaned first thing daily and the showers were nice and hot and again very clean. Probably the cleanest, least bug filled toilets and showers I've ever seen while camping.
The kitchen area was always left tidy and clean and was perfect for whipping up some dinner or a cuppa.
The fire pit was great for the evenings and the play area was a big hit with the little ones.
A great location too only half an hour from New Quay beach and we also visited the national botanical gardens.
Genuinely couldn't fault the stay one bit and we are sure to visit again!

We stayed at firecrest for 4 nights over the May half term. The bell tent was extremely comfy and our two children loved sleeping on the futons, leaving us a comfy double bed. The tent was equipped with everything you need, cooking wise.
Everything was very clean and tidy, although facilities provided are quite basic.
We pretty much had the campsite to ourselves for the duration of our stay and we wondered why it wasn’t more popular, given that it was half term!
This isn’t luxury glamping, by any stretch of the imagination- but for us it was perfect and took the stress out of pitching our own tent and having to pack everything including the kitchen sink in the car. We would definitely visit again!

We hired 3 bell tents for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay with family/ friends! We were in red kite which is closest to the facilities, but none of the tents are too far away. This is not glamping in the luxury sense, but much easier and more convenient than regular camping. We came for the beautiful location, day trips to beaches and of course sitting around a fire after dark watching for shooting stars, of which we saw several, enjoying a few drinks with those nearest and dearest, we'll come again!

We spent a wonderful three nights at Firecrest Valley in one of the glamping bell tents - what a luxury to be so well provided for, but in such a beautiful, simple location in the countryside. The staff were helpful, the tent well equipped, and the facilities excellent. We hope to be back soon!

Amazing camping holiday. Huge open field. Dedicated kitchen areas with gas stove. Quiet and peaceful. The kids loved the swings and the open area to play.

This place is great! A family run business that is very dog friendly and they go out of their way to make you welcome. There are plenty of interesting places to visit and I hope that you have as good a stay as we did.

A genuinely gorgeous site, everything is in great condition and the pitches are really spaced out. Honestly can't fault a single thing.
