Very pleased with service offered. I asked for an emergency appointment and was given one promptly. The receptionist was very warm and polite and said as easy to talk to. Dr Afghan was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, great bedside manner and thorough. I am very happy with the service I received and can recommend.

This is one of the loveliest and friendliest surgeries I have visited. It was clean with adequate seating and feel good music playing softly. My uncle had a follow up appt with 2 nurses (Emma and Helen) who were professional but found the time to chatt and joke with him whilst tending to his injuries. Thank you.

Rang this morning as an emergency and was quickly given an appointment. The emergency doctor happened to be Dr Ridout who’s always attentive and approachable. I found Potterals to be an excellent practice over the 30years I’ve been there.

I can't fault this Dr's. The receptionists are always so willing to be helpful to go above and beyond. And the Dr's are so understanding. Very good with the kids and checking them over. Would highly recommend this doctors surgery!

I have been with this Doctor's Surgery since I moved to the area in 1987, in that time I have always found them to be a very caring and understanding team of Doctors, Nurses and Reception staff. I must admit that since my husband passed away and since I became quite poorly with various illnesses that hit in my late 30's, they have always been very good to me, no matter which Doctor I see. I obviously have my favourite members of staff and Doctor there but I won't name names as to be honest I think they are all wonderful. I can't fault any of them, I have had some very traumatic times and when I've needed the Doctor to help and support they have been there for me. They do care a great deal, they are kind and understanding and very efficient too. I hope they keep my favourite Doctor as I struggle with social issues, anxiety and opening up to my circumstances, with this Doctor I am 100% comfortable and feel like I can tell them anything and they will never judge nor look down on me as some kind of failure in life, which is sometimes how I feel. As for my favourite receptionist, she is a sweetheart. She is always willing to help and she's very kind, friendly and is lovely natured and very sweet. If I know I am going to see my favourite Doctor I don't feel so anxious about going, I'm glad I am in their care, they've only in the last year or so taken care of me and I honestly would rather see them over the others, not because I dislike the other Doctors or because this is in some way detrimental to the rest of them, I am just very comfortable and at ease with them, however, they are all very kind and caring but my favourite just has the edge and is a terrific person, I can just tell. I would definitely recommend them, they look after my sons too if they need to go along, which, thankfully, isn't often as they are healthy and young. I hope this review helps, if you are suffering with social anxiety, mental health issues and/or rare diseases, then I would recommend them as it doesn't have to be frightening seeing your G.P and they are all very good.

I have been with Potterells for 12 years, and it was honestly so great that their catchment area was something I considered when moving locally. Now I've moved away and I'm honestly sad to leave this surgery and its excellent staff behind. I never had issues getting an appointment, the staff are very caring, and administrative team have always been welcoming and friendly. The only annoyance I've had is that I always seem to get asked if I'm a university student - I was one 10 years ago, but a decade of that question wears thin haha Thank you Potterells for keeping me moderately healthy all these years.

The admin staff go above and beyond. Whenever I have rung for a particular request, they have been amazing and completed the request really quickly. This has happened even when they have been thin on the ground. The staff really care here.

Should be open on Saturday as well
