Llanfyllin Dental Practice

Amazing dental practice, I'm a nervous patient and this dentist is brilliant at keeping me calm and explaining everything step by step, the dental nurse is also brilliant for keeping me chilled. The receptionist has got a heart of gold and has never left me to cope with pain for long. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys and I would recommend them to anyone 😀

Can't fault the way my elderly father was treated here. Although he is frail, he was treated with dignity and kindness by the receptionist, the dental nurse and the excellent dentist. Worth traveling for. Thank you so much.

Have been with this practice from Oswestry to Llanfyllin for over 45 years. The service through out has been first class from reception to dental nurse and Dentist. Have never been let down by this practice. All.my family use this practice. Andrew Dolgellau

Just had a large tooth extraction at this practice, which was a much better ecperience than I was expecting. Thanks to Dr Ichim & staff.

Absolutely fantastic service this morning, we were seen at very short notice and recived great treatment

We were texted an appointment for my children for 8.35am. Upon arrival we found that the dental surgery doesn't even open until 8.45am. The dentist didn't arrive until 9am and the reception told us that the agency dental nurse hadn't turned up. We were eventually seen at 9.15am. During the treatment the dentist barely spoke to us and the receptionist hung around in the treatment room still grumbling about the nursing agency. This is all on the back of repeated cancellations of appointments by the surgery. A general feeling of chaos and a lack of professionalism.

Edit (Jan 2021): Having had problems with this dental surgery in the past I was really pleased with how helpful and professional they were when I recently attended the surgery with my daughter. Their Covid-19 processes were really comprehensive and made us feel safe, and all the staff were kind and helpful which really put my nervous daughter at ease. Thanks!

I've been to this dental practice for several years now. I don't think think there has ever been a procedure that I've had that didn't need correcting in some way or another. This included ill fitting false teeth, poor fillings etc etc. The last time I went I was offered Botox!! I would definitely not recommend this dentist.i have given two stars ad they were very pleasant.

Sadly can’t leave zero stars, rude dentist completely incompetent left my partner with half a tooth left in his gum after an extraction. Only positive is the lovely dental nurse and receptionist. Avoid at all costs!

Went in for emergency tooth bonding as was chipped, was messed around on reception, I was barely in 15 mins and was a bodge job and then charged me a fortune!!! wont be going again awful service. Ive had it done in Oswestry by a professional and was cheaper and spent over a hour getting it right for me. the only saving grace with llanfyllin the assistant nurse was nice, that was it.

The reception service here is now appalling and the receptionist is very unprofessional and rude. My family member has been going here for over 20 years. When she rang to make an appointment she was told she'd been struck off without warning as she'd been to see a hygienist (which anyone is entitled to). Sad to see Dr Hunt and his great team leave.

Terrible service offers services that aren't needed such as a scale and a polish, tells you they can do something then after several appointments ends up referring you to a different dental practice as they don't think they'd be able to do the work. Receptions is beyond hopeless book an appointment for one day a while later she rings to ask whether we booked the appointment when confirming the appointment you organise time off for it for them to ring you a later to tell you an appointment had been booked a month later and that the appointment you had booked months before is not avaliable

Nothing like the excellent service provided by Peter HUNT and his team. Reception service awful. Phone off the hook. Can't even get in touch to remove myself from list. As a private patient moving to proper practice in Oswestry!!
