Simply a marvelous restaurant! The food is incredibly tasty, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect!

Simply divine and incredibly well priced! I ordered a pizza, and our friend ordered the spaghetti mayonnaise, the staff was lovely, atmosphere quite warm, as the prices extremely reasonable! Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant French restaurant with an emphasis on Italian food. They have mighty pizzas that appear to be cooked in a wood-fired oven as they reach your table in just a few minutes. For the French food lovers they have mainstays such as Beef Bourguignon which is well flavoured and has extremely tender beef.

One item on the menu that I suggest everyone try, especially if you are new to Normandy, is Apple Cidre Doux. It is a sweet apple cidre presented in a champagne style bottle but only has an alcohol content of around 2%. It is a local Norman product and is one of the best they make.

I have been two nights in a row for dinner, a d I suspect I will be going again this evening, it is that good.

Reservations are recommended as after around 19:30 the place becomes jammed with people.

Really good late night meal. It was close to our hotel and the only restaurant we found open but we're very happy we found it. The spaghetti carbonara was fantastic. I've never had it served with a raw egg still in the shell, but it looked beautiful and tasted great. The beef bourguignon was the best we had in France. Nice service - very pleasant and not too expensive. Very tight space to eat since the restaurant is small, but that's typical for European restaurants and we enjoyed it.

Came here on a recommendation from a family member. Staff were very helpful and polite and spoke very good English (our french was very basic to say the least)!
Plenty of choices on the menu for all tastes and reasonably priced.
Food was excellent and plentiful.
Can get very busy as it's popular with locals and tourists.

The vegetarian lasagne was to die for, I wished I had time to go back for another meal. Staff was courteous and the atmosphere is quant.

Stopped in for dinner after touring the Normandy coast. Full disclosure - we did make a last minute reservation on “The Fork” which was the key to getting a table. Several folks were turned away that didn’t have reservations.
Service was very good. They were hopping! English was more than passable for this Yank family. The food was excellent! They have several prix fixe menus at various price levels. The pork tenderloin was particularly good. We had crème brûlée for dessert which was excellent. Highly recommended.

was here a few days ago around 7pm and was surprised by how empty it was. food was delicious, staff was incredibly kind. would definitely recommend the creme brulee and the carbonara! the burger and fries and salmon ravioli were also amazing according to my family. these other reviews are kind of disconcerting but honestly we arrived at 645 and there was no one there, staff gave us full attention and service was very fast. so i would recommend going early as it seems to get busy later on.

Great little restaurant! I wasn't expecting to find an Italian restaurant in a small French town, but Le Marsala was there. It was a good first meal for us in Bayeux, and they made good Italian food. I had the pasta carbonara, and while it wasn't a classic Italian carbonara it was very good. Other people in my group ordered pizza and pasta dishes, and enjoyed them as well.

The food is good. Although I waited for some time, I thought they cooked it just after I ordered. The french fries were fresh!

Wonderful and delicious place! Perfect atmosphere! The wait staff was incredible. We had a margherita pizza and pasta Bolognese! They were both simply delicious! So grateful for a wonderful experience

We arrived with two young children (3 & 9months) the hostess couldn’t have been more accommodating. The menu was a lovely mix of Normandy cuisine and Italian. This suited our sons live for pasta and my wanting to eat local delicacies. The food was prompt and delicious. The staff were very friendly, they spoke good English to other tables around us but allowed me to practice my French. Overall we were very pleased with our visit to Marsala.

Excellent service, delicious bolognese and absolutely get the onion soup. They overcharged my card by accident, which I did not catch, and the owner quickly rectified it and gave me the difference in cash. Honest. Hard working. Thank you!

Amazing food with amazing service.

We had an excellent meal in a great atmosphere. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The food was quick and delicious. I highly recommend Le Marsala!

At first sight it wouldn't draw your attention, but we had a great evening here. A good selection of beers and wines, very friendly staff and a great Lasagne (only one in town). Definitely recommend it!

Great service and food. Finding it open on a Sunday made it an oasis! Even as it got busy service was prompt. Went back three nights in a row.You won't go wrong here, enjoy.
