Café Torpanranta

A nice cafe at the end of the tram line 4 overlooking a lake. Perfect for both winter and summer. The road leads to a beach with a sauna and a pool.

One of my favorite places in Helsinki. Usually not crowded, at least when we’ve visited. They’ve nice salads, good pastries and large selection of various drinks (both with and without alcohol). Nice view over the water but a lot of birds jumping on the tables outside. Take a walk along walking path and look nice houses by the bay.

Great café / restaurant. Child friendly (baby chair) and enought space for stroller, not too quiet. The salmon soup (11.5€) was really good, and the desserts as well. The location & view is great and you can easily take a walk to Munkkiniemenranta after lunch :-) .

Lovely cafe on the edge of the water, I had already had breakfast but when I saw the prawn and egg salad I couldn't resist. Lovely and fresh.

A peaceful cafe beloved by local Helsinki people. Drinks and food are basic but you can quietly chill here.

Beautiful place by the sea with a view to the bay between Espoo and Helsinki. An excellent place for coffee, a snack or lunch with a selection of delicious pastries, tapas and salad. Tapas or salad with smoked salmon is my personal favorite. Highly recommended!

Great sunny terrasse!! Good food, a little bit expensive maybe but unlimited café included.

Fantastically located cafe with loads of seating, all with a view of the water. Pretty much the whole cafe is windows. Plenty of outdoor seating too. Location super near a beach which makes it a must see in the summer.

A true Helsinki classic. A bit on the pricy side but you pay for the location and views. Good salads! They are open later than most cafes in Munkkiniemi, Tram no 4 brings you right to the door.

Our favourite place to walk to for last afternoon sunlight exposure and quick bite/drink for the whole family. The beach is nice and can have a lot of bird poop, which might be a problem. Plenty of seats both inside and outside. Love it!

Lovely spot to sit and relax with coffee cake or fishy light meals. Many just sit and listen to the waves of Baltic lapping into the shoreline. Sunny day gorgerous spot. Very efficient staff. Recommend the cinnamon buns and coffee.
Smoking area if required at tables.

Super nice and helpful staff who offered their suggestions and helped me get the best meal! I love the salad bar here, but of course they also have good coffee and pulla.

Lovely cafeteria by the sea in Munkkiniemi. It’s really nice to spend some times outdoors when the weather is nice.

Our favourite cafe in Helsinki. Good selection of food and drinks. Lot of seating area especially outside. Nice atmosphere and salad is delicious. Even good behaving dogs are welcomed.
