Kanavan Helmi

Oh what can I say, its really nice place for a walk along the river or to sit and watch how boats pass the canal from time to time when bridge needs to be lifted. The ice-cream at this place is amazing, the problem is there is always a long queue for the icecream but indeed worth the wait. Make sure you try your favourite flavours, I loved the pistachio icecream flavour.

Stopped here for ice cream while walking in the park. Friendly service and very tasty ice cream. But a word of caution... Don't sit at an open/uncovered table unless you want to risk becoming a target for the countless birds in the trees.... Just sayin' 💩

Small cafe kiosk in a beautiful setting next to the Vääksy channel. Watch the bridge open for boats to swim through while sipping a cappuccino. The big cruise boats every few hours are a sight as they fill up the entire channel. Make sure you try the ice cream here! Its hand made and oh so delicious.

Really nice old little ice cream cafe by the locks. It's an outdoor cafe with no place to sit inside, so It's summer only place. But on a nice weather this is really a great place to visit. They serve locally made ice-cream that is delicious! Lot's of flavors to choose from too
They are located in a beautiful park next to a lock on a busy waterway. So, on a warm day you'll see lot of boats go up and down the waterway. And if you are one of the boaters, there's plenty of places to moor your boat and take stroll to the café.

So good artisan icecream. Differnt flavours example srawbery with basil.

upea paikka! Jäätelö on hyvää ja löytyy herkullista syötävää myös keliaakikolle. Must paikka Päijät-Hämeessä.

Jo lyhyt patikkamatka parkkipaikalta kahvilaan on oma elämys, joka lunastaa odotuksesi perille päästyäsi. Kävimme perheen kanssa Italialaisella jäätelöllä ja valinnanvaraa todella löytyy. Vaihtoehtoja on myös kahveissa, erilaisissa leivonnaisissa ja suolaisissa. Asiakaspalvelu oli ystävällistä ja asiantuntevaa. Siisti paikka, jossa on runsaasti istumapaikkoja. Aika kuluu hurahtaen kun pääsee seuraamaan sulutuksia kahvikupin äärellä.

Sympaattinen kahvila hienolla sijainnilla. Erikoisuutena todella hienot ja hyvät omat jäätelöt, joiden takia paikan päälle kannattaa tulla kauempaakin

Hyvät kahvit ja jäätelöt ja sulkuun tuli vielä venekin.

Nam nam nam jäätelöä.. Kylmä kassi mukana ja Kanavan Helmen styrox pakkauksella säilyi jäätelö oikein hyvänä kotiin viemisiksi.. Kanava 150v maku vadelma&lakritsi oli hyvää.

Käytiin pojan kanssa kun olitte satamassa myymässä ja palvelu oli erittäin hyvää ja jäätelö oli parempaa 👍
