What do you do when you wake up late and can’t find breakfast anywhere because it is noon on a Monday? You go to Cafferino Oba.

I loved their Breakfast Combo. It is great if you are super hungry. Just come in, grab a cup of water and utensils and wait for the waiter to get your order. He is super nice! Well, everyone that was there was super nice. It looks like a neighborhood join: They have regular clients.

My absolute favorite place in all of Helsinki. Food is impeccable: fresh, well-seasoned, colorful, tasty, and beautifully prepared. Prices are excellent as well. Service was warm, friendly, and kind. Felt like I was visiting a friend who happened to be serving me the best breakfast, lunch, and/or snacks ever. Coffee is delicious (we tried drip coffee, Turkish coffee, and a latte). Baklava was sooooo yummy and homemade. Would heartily recommend. Can't wait to come back in the future!

Edit: Came back a little over a year later and the same review stands. Owner is super friendly and kind, breakfast combo was delicious. This is, hands-down, my favorite place in Helsinki. Thank you for putting such care into your cafe! It is noticed and appreciated.

Highly recommend. The best Café in Helsinki! Great service, great prices AND amazing food. We ordered a pasta and a salad, both really good, but the MOST delicious thing we ordered was definitely the Turkish coffee. Overall a really nice experience!

We discovered Cafferino Oba wondering around Helsinki looking for a breakfast place. The food was amazing! Everything tasted fresh and there so many different flavors in the Oba breakfast plate. I’d recommend for any looking for a wonderful affordable breakfast. Also the people were very nice.

Really delicious food and friendly staff! I highly recommend their Istanbul fried rice, it was very tasty. I also tried the breakfast combo on a weekend morning, the closest thing to an actual Turkish breakfast in Helsinki. I'll definitely be returning for more!

Was on vacation and found this spot tucked away on the corner of the street. Great customer service food was delicious and my coffee was amazing. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Turkish cafè on the corner. The music they play is fantastic and the interior area is thankfully really nice and quiet. It's perfect for studying quietly.

Super cozy and cute coffee place. I love the atmosphere, the food is homemade and authentic and the staff is very friendly. Big plus that dogs are welcome!

Fantastic little place that truly deserves the all the praise. Very good value for the prices, home made baklava and excellent coffee. Meze plates were huge! Just like the pictures. Also the staff was very welcoming and very warm atmosphere.

Me and my friend had an excellent Turkish coffee here, the owner is a very nice person, he puts attention to every customer. Definitely a hidden gem in Helsinki.

Perfectly cooked eggs and savory sausages are complemented by creamy richness and a delightful crunch from walnuts. Generous portions leave you satisfied without feeling stuffed. A must-try morning experience!

Fantastic breakfast. The omelet looked normal but was absolutely magnificent, wonderfully balanced with delicious herbs. The feta was also not your average feta and the yogurt with honey and nuts provided a perfect finish to a perfect breakfast.

Best fried rice I've got. Food is always fresh and delicious. Plus the restaurant keeper is very welcoming and friendly. Would go to eat there again anytime.

Simple advice. GET HERE. So warm and welcoming the owner and staff. All food cones made with “free” love.
Coming from Australia finding good coffee when traveling is a challenge. Amazing coffee here. The food has a modern Turkish twist, simple, flavoursome and fresh ingredients.
Free wifi.
Also a big plus for me was the hand juices orange juice. Sooo good I had a second glass.

In a city that is expensive breakfast/lunch and coffee for two was only about $28 euro
