Cafe Regatta

I’d stumbled across this place when doing my research for Helsinki and what a great find it is. It is stunning in the winter time. Coffee is really good and the cinnamon bun was so good so I had two. Friendly and welcoming staff and nice and warm inside.

A really cute and cozy little Cafe! The cinnamon buns are really good! And the Hot Chocolate is just as heavenly! Especially when you’ve been walking around in the cold weather! The cinnamon buns are nice and soft! They’re also served warm! The hot chocolate will also warm you up and it tastes amazing too! When the lake is frozen there is a little sled for children to play with! I think it’s a really cute idea!

Tucked by the sea in a charming red cabin, Cafe Regatta offers a slice of Finnish history and relaxation. This 115-year-old former Paulig family fishing shed boasts a cozy, antique interior and a sunny terrace with sea views. Grab a fresh cinnamon bun or other pastries, and enjoy them by the open fire while soaking up the atmosphere.

Really warm and cozy place! The meat pie and the sweets were great and the exterior is also wonderful with a nice and calm view. You get the chance to roast your own sausages and marshmallows in the firepit outside!!!

🥦Broccoli cheese pie
This is a must-try for vegetarians. The cheese flavor is rich but not overly heavy, complemented by the aroma of broccoli. It's a perfect choice for filling your stomach.

In the winter, this cup of warm hot chocolate is very comforting.

Authentic small Finnish cafe serving famous and delicious cinnamon buns. Outdoor fire pit where you can also roast sausages. I arrived around 4pm on a Wednesday and plenty of indoor seating as well. Cool place if you’re looking for a short walk from town. Interesting decor inside the cafe, very retro and authentic appearing. Lots of trails and people walking about nearby.

The little red cabin is beautiful and super cozy from inside 😍 they are offering gluten free options (sweet and salty). You can buy sausage and warm using bonfire 🔥 Highly recommend to visit while in Helsinki❤

Must visit in Helsinki. Visit during sunset for prettiest sunset views. Loved the blueberry pie with vanilla sauce along with Hot chocolate with whipped cream.
They have outdoor and indoor seating available.

Absolute must stop while in Helsinki. Limited seating indoors and plenty of seating outside. Hot chocolate is amazing and can be enjoyed with marshmallows! Cinnamon rolls are served warm and the best we had in Finland! Other menu items all seem top notch, as well. They offer sausages that can be roasted on a fire outdoors. Overall, a very amazing café!

Charming little cafe that we stopped off at on our final day in Helsinki. It’s very popular so there may be a queue out the door as there was for us so wrap up warm and be prepared to line up out in the cold.

I’m happy to report that, just as the reviews had suggested, it was well worth the wait. We ordered hot chocolate and a hot blueberry drink, and some of the blueberry pie with vanilla sauce. The interior is very cosy and homely with few tables but fortunately for us, one freed up just as we collected our order. We sat on the wooden benches and thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. Everything was delicious.

We also got some sausages (veggie options available) to roast on the fire pit outside. We sat around the fire for some time taking in the darkening blue sky and the views of the frozen sea.

A lovely way to end our trip.

The best almond croissant I’ve ever had in my life! The cinnamon bun was also great. Highly recommend this cute little cafe - a must if you’re in Helsinki!

Lovely place in a lovely location. A bit small though, hopefully you're lucky enough to get a spot to sit inside where it's nice and warm.

Blueberry pie is amazing. Hot chocolate was also nice.

This is a lovely cafe about 30 minutes walk from the centre of Helsinki. Some of the walk is along the waterway. You can visit Sibelius monument too, which is around the corner.

I had a vegan cardomon bun and coffee, both good. There's a large sitting area outside and some seats inside the cosy cafe.

Worth a visit because you get to see a different side of Helsinki.

This is the coziest coffee shop I have ever been to. The location is perfect in both summer and winter. The food selection they have is great, I’ve tried quite a few of their offerings. Just be sure to watch your food, otherwise it might be stolen by the local birds.

Cute place with a beautiful view. Love the place! I ordered a cinnamon bun which was really delicious, and a hot chocolate with cream and cardamum on top. That was epic! You have to visit this place!

Small cozy place, really nice hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls, it only has like 5 tables so it is really hard to find a place, luckily a small table was free after we ordered. we tried to cook the sausage outside but it was windy, they lighted up the fire again for us.

No one stops at Regatta for the pulla 🫣 The cinnamon scrolls are always fresh - visit on the first sunny spring day and you will 100% understand why!
Instead they stop for the opportunity to sit by the fire, grill a sausage or two, take in the view and just chill.
I'm told the hot chocolate is pretty good too 😊

Wonderful little place to enjoy the snow and to have a little rest while walking around Helsinki. It is self service. Great hot chocolate and pastries. It even has a fire pit in which you can grill sausages they sell.

Beautiful cottage near Helsinki. The service was pleasant, the offer was also good. We had fresh bread because we ran out around nine in the morning.

Always loves them Cinnamon bun and home roasted coffee. No matter in which seasons there. Thank you for your space and hospitality.
