Scandic Imatran Valtionhotelli

Very nice place, very comfortable. The room was spacious, the restaurant very good in the evening and in the morning. The perfect sauna area. The only thing not so good is the temperature of the hot tub, it wasn't very hot. We nevertheless had an excellent stay.

Very pleasant and relaxing stay over a Saturday and Sunday during a blizzard. Old building rooms were nice, the spa was empty, so had it both days almost to ourselves. Restaurant was very good and location is excellent.

The place is, of course, exceptional. In addition I have to say that everything worked perfectly. The room was clean and in good condition, the staff was very helpful and smiling and also the breakfast was very good, regardless to the fact that we went to the breakfast half an hour before closing. We also got a late check-out (2PM) just by asking and with no extra cost. Five stars and a recommendation for everybody planning a trip around Imatra.

Lovely hotel. Good location and just a walking distance to Galleria Shopping mall where you can find a few selections of restaurants and some shops. Breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay again

Roomd are available in old building - more expensive and closer to the road, and in new building - cheaper and quieter. Overal the hotel is very solid and comfortable, everything as expected. I like my stay a lot.

What a rare and beautiful place. Not that expensive with Scandic level 2 discounts. Go there. Swimming and sauna area quite small but cozy.

Wonderful place with very welcoming staff members.Inside you can see some stuff and furniture from the past and also read very interesting history who for who and when it's been built.

Nice hotel. Different than those basic hotel buildings. In a goow way. Food was exceptionally good!

Room in the old house is a kind of magic.Breakfast is more than just good... It is recommended to book a table for dinner in advance
