Explore omo valley

We have had an once in a lifetime trip in Ethiopia. Those were very exiting, and very special and unforgettable two weeks. We have visited authentic tribes, living on the country side on south of Ethiopia. We have learned about their life, and traditions, and even took a part of some of their traditional ceremonies, even some of them were seams a very unnatural for us in this 21 century.
The organization side of the trip was just perfect. Our guide Emmanuel Cheneke was very kind, and listening. He had planned every day on the best side, that way we could see much more things. He even changed our schedule ones, so we have had a chance for watching a great battle between local tribes, which takes place only twice a year!
It was one of the greatest opportunities for us!
I would recommend to everyone who wishes to visit in Ethiopia to take Emmanuel as a guide! You will experience and feel the authentic local routine life, and won't regret, that for sure! He also has great knowledge, shared with us a lot of information about life in Ethiopia, and .tell us many stories about Ethiopian people

The Omo Valley is an incredible place if you know how to explore it. There are not public reliable transport so hiring a private tour is a must. Also, visiting the tribes is almost impossible on your own. I have been there several times, all of them with Emanuel from Explore Omo Valley and I can't imagine doing it with anybody else. His knowledge about the country, the tribes, is what any traveller need. Emanuel (Imany) was born and has been his entire life in the Omo Valley. His team of chefs, drivers and helpers are experts at what they do, not only in the Omo Valley but in the whole country.
I just came back and I'm already planning my next trip at the end of this year. Don't think twice about hiring him if Ethiopia is in the radar for your travel plans.

In January, in 4 people, we were on a 5-day Omo Valley tour. Emani is factual, reliable and an excellent organizer. Great supervision and flexibility in implementing the program.
