One of the oldest, yet most modern of bars and still serving excellent breakfasts, tapas and drinks in the older part of town. The family has owned the place for decades and Emilio redesigns the bar every few years. Full of oddities and nuances, with list of tapas to choose with your drink. On a recent visit to Loja we had a late lunch in this establishment. We had the menu del dia for 3 people. The food was well prepared, well presented and good value. Drinks were a reasonable price and the whole experience was very good.My wife and I are English and our friend is Spanish and we all enjoyed the food.

Very delicious Calamares plancha con salsa de sofrito y gambas. The best Calamares I have ever eaten. Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Very good place!

The menu del dia is cheap and delicious. The waiter tried his very best to speak english and was so kind!

La comida es excelente, el lugar impecable y la gente maravillosa. 100% recomendado. Lo mejor sin duda fueron las pechuguitas.

Lugar tranquilo, limpio, muy bonito el sitio, ambiente familiar, servicio muy bueno, la comida estaba rica. Si vas a Loja te recomiendo este sitio para desayunar.
