El Alfoz de Burgos

This is a temple for La Morcilla de Burgos (spanish black pudding with rice on it). I will stop here to enjoy their delicious cafeteria dishes whenever I drive up north through A1/E5

Nice place. Amazing food and service was more or less nice. We ate in the Asador and they don't let me kids go to the inside Playground there. To be honest, we spent like 140 euros there and that point was not good

Excellent stop along the highway. One of the best lunches in Spain.

It was our first stop on our trip from Madrid to Bilbao. The price for every meal was 7€ which I consider value for money.

Perfect for a quick stop or a tasty lunch/dinner. "Morcilla" is a must!!

Great place to stop on the way to northern Spain and if you get back to center of Spain, as it’s super well connected for both ways of the highway

Brilliant location for onward travel. Very clean and bright. Surprisingly good for a motorway services/ hotel. Evening menu del dia started at 8pm large portions for Euro 14 included 3 courses bread, wine and water. Room very nice and free parking right on the A1

Great Restaurant. We had a lovely and reasonably priced Bar meal and Vino blanco at €1 a glass another good reason to go back. The staff were very pleasant and attentive in a very chilled atmosphere and surrounding.

Good place right beside the A1 Spanish highway. The Spanish omelette here is awesome. Quite practical if you need a fast stop to have some coffee and keep on moving. Highly recommended

Great spanish omelette (tortilla de patata) and tasty and lovely coffee. Always a please to stop there when driving from Madrid to Bilbao... Will be back soon!

Good prices for daily basis and good quality food. The best i have found around. Its usually plenty, which is a good sign

Very clean booked in for one night. Double room only 40.00euros. But when you ordered a drink you had to drink it outside in the cold it was December at night

One of the better place to taste the original plates of the castellans cooking.

Good place to stop and have a rest if you're going somewhere in A-1 highway. Good prices, nice place and helpful staff.

Fab place to stay over en-route to South Spain, friendly staff, good security in the car parks, good food, well done El Alfoz
