Restaurante Bavieca

We came here for dinner at the end of September as we were staying in Medinaceli for the night.
It was a Thursday night and it appeared to be the only place open.
We had our dog with us so we sat outside under the covered area in front of the hotel.
We both chose from the 20 euro menu, 6 choices of starters and mains, the waiter Javier took his time to explain all the dishes more than once and gave excellent service.
My partner had asparagus for starter and i had a bean stew and we both had steak for mains, all dishes very nice and good portion size.
We both had desserts and an extra beer and wine and the bill was 42 euros.
We gave the waiter a 50 note and told him to keep the change as he had served us so well but he said that he didnt want it as it was too much but we left it anyway. Thanks and we will eat with you again next time we are passing by. Lawrence.

This place is amazing. The staff are really friendly welcoming and accommodating. Even though we arrived late the owner kept the chef on to cook our meal which was absolutely delicious. We have eaten a wonderful meal here before in May this year and that is the main reason that we came back to stay. The breakfast too is outstanding. We are sad that we didn't have time to spend a couple of days here but we will be back very soon. Thank you very much Mario and your staff. Don and Susan Foster

Marvellous stone village with lost of history. Regarding the staff, I enjoyed specially his posture, his availability to help in any kind of issue and the best meal from the region for an amazing price. If I wasn't living so far away I would be spending some weekends at this place. Loved it

Amazing service and menu with great value for money, plus we slept there and the breakfast was making us feeling like our mother was serving us! Don't expect luxury but a local and familiar service with a very reasonable cost, maybe cheaper than it should be...

Medinaceli is a great surprise, the food is very tasteful. Lovely place! The owner is very friendly!

Expectacular

De visita en un pueblo precioso, decidimos comer en la terraza. El menú del día, 22 euros y la sopa castellana, migas, entrecot muy ricos. La atención por parte del camarero de la terraza, muy buena, muy amable y atento, creo que es dominicano. Lugar muy recomendable para comer.

Lugar muy bonito. Terraza ideal si hace buen tiempo. Solo una pega. Teníamos mesa reservada y no sentaron a dentro del local donde no había nadie comiendo. Hablé con el encargado y le comenté si podíamos comer en la terraza donde había una mesa libre. El hombre accedió y nos sentó en la terraza. Muy buen servicio. Si pasamos otra vez por Medinaceli volveremos. Gracias.

Estuvimos comiendo en la terraza este fin de semana. Todo estaba riquísimo. Muy bien situado, atendidos muy bien en todo momento. Recomiendo la hamburguesa del menú. Comimos relajados, bien atendidos y disfrutando de las vistas. Lo recomiendo.

Cenamos de menú. Relación calidad precio inmejorable. Todo riquísimo, los platos muy originales y bien cocinados: espárragos trigueros con queso fresco (inesperadamente adictivos), cardo con salsa de nueces (muy suaves pero con un sabor muy diferente), pato con frambuesas, timbal de morcilla con mermelada de piquillos y de postre la crema de chocolate y el helado de galleta (este último me pareció una explosión de dulce muy adictiva). Dos menús a 20€ cada uno (+4,50€ de una cerveza de la región, también muy variada la carta de cervezas artesanas que tienen), vamos que lo recomendaría sin pensarlo dos veces. El servicio muy agradable y atento. Todo bien

Hemos ido hoy a comer, no teníamos reserva y nos ha propuesto volver a las 14:45 que ya tendría mesa libre. Daba las horas escalonadas para no tener que esperar demasiado. Los dos primeros han salido muy bien, el postre y café ya un poquito más lento. Pero no nos ha importado, el sitio muy agradable y la comida muy rica a muy buen precio. Totalmente recomendable

Un lugar tranquilo y acogedor. El servicio excelente y la comida, tanto las raciones como la calidad del producto y el trato que se le da, es excelente. Relación con el precio insuperable, 20 euros un menú que parecía carta.
Ya sabemos donde parar camino de Madrid.

Fantástico! Comimos el menú de 20€, unas migas de pan exquisitas, la sopa castellana buenísima y toda la carne de primera. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Muy amables. Repetiremos!

Un restaurante excelente. Todo era bueno,del primer plato al último. Hasta hemos pedido tostás de foie aparte del menú,para probar y eran divinas. Un sitio a visitar si o si. Ademas el precio es más que razonable.

Menú relación calidad precio muy correcto,vino del menú muy aceptable incluye en el menú una botella no una copa por comensal,sitio para tomar un vermut también genial.

Dos veces he comido aquí y siempre he salido con el estómago muy contento.
Siempre me pasa lo mismo, y con lo rico que está todo solo subo foto de los primeros que pedimos (exquisitos!).
Además el ambiente es muy acogedor y el trato muy amable.
Volveremos!

Estuve el viernes y todo perfecto.

Los camareros súper amables y la comida muy rica, sobre todo el entrecot que estaba espectacular, al igual que el helado con dulce de leche

La única pega es que el flan es bastante pequeño.

Recomiendo reservar :)
