Citrus Bistro & Bar

Excellent service form all the team, great British dishes very tasty and filling. They have fish and chips once a week and a very varied menu. Music and events at the weekend and special events throughout the year.
We go regularly and have never been disappointed, friendly staff and honest food what more do you need?

Traditional Spanish guitar music was superb. Regular entertainment. Plenty of seating. Majority of outside seating is under cover. Good service. Good selection of alcohol and soft drinks Inc tea and coffee. Light snacks and sandwich/boccy's and selection of cakes.

Lots of entertainment and a weekly quiz. The jam night was so unexpected and superb. Lovely big outdoor area.

Stopped on motorcycle tour, pastie were excellent. Couldn't fault food, place and hosts.

Community knowledge is evident with a number of advertising cards available with personal information about previous experiences of usage.
Take away available, good selection of homemade cakes which sell quickly.

Best bar in Marina Alta

As a Brit abroad I love nothing more than an English breakfast to start the day. We are often disappointed by thin streaky bacon and inedible sausages however the Citrus bars food was delicious, tasty sausages and English bacon cooked to perfection. Friendly service, English speaking and AMAZING food, even the dog was impressed with her doggy biscuit treat. Would highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Was at Citrus for a fabulous afternoon watching LA Roxx with family and friends... Some reviewers on here are being less than honest...
So lets look at the reality. Sunday afternoons are very busy, you must book a table, so to cater for everyone from the tiny kitchen, meals switch from Sunday roast, BBQ or on this occasion Chilli and one other, one pot dish, This is only Sundays every other day there's a menu... For 99% of people this is just fine.. I chose the chilli which was excellent I had it with rice and chips... Price? a very reasonable 7 euros...
The meals are never promised to come out immediately, its an afternoon event so you get it when its your turn... but its no big deal for most because its a great afternoon.. and theres no rush. The band you get to watch for free.... the only thing that can spoil the afternoon is when someone on the next table moans from the moment they arrive about the table, table position, sun, shade etc etc, these people then leave a rotten review that can be safely ignored.. Go and have a great time at Citrus like most of us do... and watch great acts for the price of a cheap meal... Would highyl recommend.

Stopped here while on a cycling trip in the area. Really friendly and helpful staff and had the tastiest sandwich I've ever had (Chicken, Bacon, Cheese, Lettuce and Mayo). Would definitely recommend.
