Amazing service and even though in these tough times with the new Brexit laws my post has been arriving quicker to the UK than using the Spanish correos. Lovely cards and other items too.

Offex service to and from UK, better than Spanish mail and comparatively inexpensive

Chose this place to pick up a package as their location and opening times were very convenient for me after dropping kids to school at 9and and before starting work at 9.30. AGAIN, closed !! They should change their opening hours to - “if the owner fancies a lie in, shop could open at 10/10.30, your guess is as good as mine!” Was told by a local they often close before 1pm, not 2pm also so if I take a lunch break to come back and pick my package up (which I now have to do!) was told better to come before 1. Very, very bad service to customers. If their opening times were 10-1 on their website, I’d have chosen another pick up point ! Now I have to drive back yet again (using my lunch break!) hoping I can chance them being open. Won’t be using them again that’s for sure!

Just felt I should alert people. I have been using Videola in Paniagua for some time to send mail to the UK. Thinking it was better than the Spanish postal service. Have had some misgivings recently as several things have taken a very long time to arrive (the longest being 2 weeks for a birthday card). They advertise Offex.
My latest experience was to send some important documents to the UK. I chose "special delivery " complete with a tracking number and paid €20. 8 days later the documents have not been received. The tracking number does not work. I go back to the shop where I am promised an investigation and a call back when they have some information as to the whereabouts of my package. 3 hours later I go back to the shop where I am told they are still waiting for Offex to track the package and get back to them. I decide to contact Offex myself and am told that they no longer deal with Videola due to non payment of fees. I returned to the shop the next day and was told Offex had not been to collect. After a bit of pressing I discovered they still had my documents,along with a lot of other mail. Mine had been there for 9 days along with, what I noticed, someone's passport addressed to UK passport office.
Please be aware there is some sort of dispute between Videola and Offex. Videola are leaving your mail in a tupperware box in their shop for an extraordinary amount of time. Offex are not collecting. I do not know what they plan to do with it.
