Mesón Muiño Kilowatio

Fabulous unpretentious little "fish and chips" bar, 11€ each for a shared dish of " marraxo and chips", a local fish of the shark family, and a glass of that local yellow " albarino". Will definitely repeat.

Famous for its pan-fried "marraxo" or porbeagle (an order of sharks commonly known as mackerel sharks; tiburón cailón in Spanish), which is marinated and very moist as well as tasty. It comes with a huge portion of chips too!

The other menu choices are also home-made and worth trying if shark is not your thing or if you want to protect the porbeagle from overfishing (this is probably my second time having it in the past 10 years). The staff are owners, and are very nice if you want to engage in conversation.

Such great food, and such great service and vibes. The highlight of Cedeira to us. We loved the maraxo (shark) and the secreto (pork). Needless to say, we also ordered rabas. 3 tapas for two who eat a lot. Will definitely return. Highly recommendable.

Really worth it. It is small and gets very very busy but there is a good reason for that! Food is excellent and the staff are superb. If there isn't a table or a stool free, it's worth waiting for one. The Raxo and maraxo are delicious.

Expectacular ( tapas)

Un lugar mítico en Cedeira que no ha perdido su encanto.
El marraxo (tiburón) es obligado: si tienes niños, y aunque no les guste el pescado, te aseguro que si lo prueban, alucinarán.
Otro plato recomendado: Cordon Blue … brutal.
Las croquetas y los calamares son de vicio.
El único “pero” es que vayas con tiempo porque suele estar lleno … y creo que no admiten reservas

Buen sitio para picar algo y pasar un buen rato. Siempre que voy pido los calamares exquisitos y el marmitako, delicioso. Con dos tapas (que son 1/2 raciones) comes perfectamente dos personas. La atención es siempre de lo mejor!
