Mesón Restaurante La Almagra

Lovely place and wonderful owner, so welcoming and friendly. Sadly we couldn't eat as we arrived Monday afternoon and the restaurant was closed that night and all day Tuesday but we had coffees, amazed that a place in almost the middle of nowhere had soya milk. He kindly gave me some lemons and oranges as I'd mentioned I had a painful throat, so thoughtful and much appreciated. We had a couple of drinks at the bar before he closed. Very happy for us to stay in the carpark next to the restaurant in our campervan, even said he would leave the toilet doors open for us to use at night - the toilets were spotless and we had a very peaceful night. We were visiting the area to take a bath at Banos el pozo, 5 minutes walk away.

This place was amazing, we stored here for a quick bite to eat on the way back from Gebas and it turned out to be done of the best tapas we've had in Spain.

The octopus was the most tender I've ever had, the squid was cooked beautifully, the stuffed mushrooms and potatoes were really tasty and the little kebab things were something special!

The service was also very good with friendly waiters they seemed to speak some English but we just pointed to the tapas we wanted anyway.

We parked just a little up the road just off the main road where there's a small lookout to look at the little river then walked less than 10 mins to the restaurant.

Once we paid the very cheap price (30€ for 6 sharing tapas dishes, 2 beers and a water, easily enough for 3 people) the have us a complimentary local cider to taste.

There was plenty of space to eat either indoors or outdoors in the sun or shade. We sat on a little area out the back and around a corner covered by trees. So definitely be coming back.

Had a very enjoyable meal here today with friends. The food was delicious and beautifully served on the plates. The only criticism that someone had, was that the plates were cold so the scummy vegetables were a little cold. The cheesecake was to die for - a proper version. Well done to the chef and staff.

Hemos quedado muy sorprendidos al encontrarse este sitio!!!! Tienen una cocina muy muy buena, opciones veganas, comidas caseras, opciones sin gluten, y la atención espectacular!!!!!!!!!
Sin duda es un sitio para volver.

Este sitio es la ostia hablando claro y pronto, el chico que nos atendió muy bien y muy humilde, los precios para la calidad de comida, son hasta baratos, todo lo que pedimos mi novia y yo nos pareció de diez, ademas le gusta las leyendas del rock

Atención muy amable del camarero, el lugar muy pintoresco y acogedor, la comida sabrosa y con buena presentación, variedad de carnes y surtido de aperitivos, cantidad de postres caseros para elegir. Local amplio y limpio con terraza exterior en un tranquilo y acogedor paisaje natural. Nos ha encantado, seguro repetiremos.

IMPRESIONANTE. Por mi trabajo viajo mucho y hacia años que no degustaba como hoy una comida espectacular, mis pasadas por Murcia tienen a partir de hoy parada obligatoria.

El restaurante está ubicado en un valle encantado rodeado de naturaleza y sonidos embaucadores. El menú vegetariano que Kiko nos ofreció fue una danza de sabores para nuestro paladar. ¡La mejor tarta de queso que hemos probado!
Encontramos este fabuloso lugar en nuestro Camino de peregrinación a Caravaca desde Abanilla. Gracias a ello lo conocimos y ha dejado huella en nosotros.

Espectacular tanto sitio como la comida. Estuvimos buscando un sitio para comer algo y rápido, porque íbamos de paso o nos sorprendio el sitio. La comida espectacular! El sitio lo guardamos para la siguiente viaje, sin duda volveremos si estaremos cerca.

Un trato de lujo y la comida exquisita, totalmente recomendable

Cualquier peregrino verá colmada sus necesidades del Camino de la Veracruz. Contundente. Km Cero. Hecho con maestría y mucho amor a las cosas hechas a fuego lento. Brasas de primera. Amplia terraza. Parking y un entorno único. Indispensable. Parada obligatoria.

Sitio muy agradable . Hemos comido fuera debajo de los pinos y se estaba de maravilla. Relación calidad precio muy buena. Lo recomiendo. La comida muy rica.

De 10. Fuimos a los postres y al café. El servicio muy bueno , el café bueno, pero los postres , espectaculares. Un sitio familiar donde volver. 👍

Llegamos muy rebotados con el servicio recibido del restaurante el Pozo y disfrutamos de unos postres maravillosos, atención inmediata y servicio impecable.
