Luxe bed & breakfast Casa Paco

Without any doubts I can that this is the best B&B we ever stayed at. Mendo & Laureen (the hosts) are absolutely fantastic, Hospitality with a capital H. The rooms are clean and newly refurbished and very comfortable with luxury bathrooms and good beds. Add to that the delicious breakfasts every day
and the location with stunning views. Everything is well taken are of and I would highly recommend. It is a gem of a place and we are definitely coming back again.

Everything about Casa Paco is warm and inviting. The rooms are fresh, clean and very comfortable and the surroundings are superb. The pool and spa are welcoming and the lounge with its honesty bar is a great feature. Laureen and Mendo made us welcome from the minute we parked and we didn’t really want to leave at the end of the weekend. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options always served with a smile. From sitting by the pool with a drink to relaxing in the lounge with a good book, we felt like family. We can’t wait until our next trip to Vélez Rubio. The area has so much to offer.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Casa Paco. The receptions was like you come at home. The rooms are spotless, maybe a bit dull.
We had an amazing fresh breakfast and an outstandig service next to it. More coffee, you want more this or that. The place and facilities are luxurious. The town Velez Rubio, Velez Blanco and Maria are worthful to visit. The nearby Botanical Garden is a very nice hike.
We would like to recommend this stunning B&B very much. Thanks a lot to Laureen and Mendo for your hospitality.

Our stay at Casa Paco was just Perfect! Lauren & Mendo were so kind and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and we loved sitting round the pool to relax! Our room was kept spotlessly clean and the bathroom felt like those in a spa. We found the decor to be really calming with nice small touches like a smeg kettle and nespresso machine. Breakfast was also exactly what we needed with coffee and smoothies on tap! Casa Paco is in a superb location between Velez-Rubio and Velez-Blanco and we can’t wait to visit again. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

We were able to stay two nights in Casa Oro. Most comfortable bed and linens. Everything spotlessly clean. The grounds are welcoming with ability to lay by the pool, hammock, sit and relax outside or inside. There is a jacuzzi, but didn’t use. The grounds are well maintained. Such a great place to unwind and put your feet up.
Great selection to eat at breakfast. The setting makes one feel special. Mendo and Laureen are warm and welcoming, making one feel as they are their family.
Also, for a great dinner, we enjoyed their suggestion at Garimedes in Velez Rubio.

What a find, in one word: Amazing! This is one of those gems you accidentally stumble upon. A picture is worth a thousand words, but doesn’t do Casa Paco justice; a B&B at its finest. Whilst looks, location and comfort are important, it’s the whole package deal that sets it apart. The owners’ attention to detail is second to none and their personal touch the icing on the cake.

This sensational picturesque Spanish finca is characterized by its original charm combined with modern design elements and the use of high quality materials. It comprises of a main building with four guest rooms and common breakfast room with an honesty bar offering a range of appetizing reasonably priced beverages.

The outdoor area features a small but alluring swimming pool, hot tub gazebo and plenty of sunbeds, beach umbrellas and towels. In addition there is a lawn with a bar, BBQ, lounge nook and large canopy table with chairs for guests to enjoy their breakfast, lunch or dinner outside.

The rooms are very clean and leave nothing to be desired, including an extra-large comfortable bed, air conditioning, Nespresso machine, excellent Wi-Fi and superb bathroom with luxury amenities, huge walk-in shower and thick and luscious towels.

The hospitality and advice rendered by the hosts is outstanding as well as the complimentary breakfast they serve.

Casa Paco is located on the edge of Vélez-Rubio, a lively typical Spanish pueblo surrounded by a beautiful scenery with opportunities for recreation and outdoor activities and a variety of bars and restaurants.

Casa Paco is a little slice of paradise!

As soon as we arrived at the hotel, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery, we knew we had chosen the right place. The hosts (Lauren & Mendo) greeted us upon arrival and their warm welcome made us feel at home from the very beginning.

The hospitality continued throughout our stay at the Casa Paco.

The incredible view of the mountains from the pool was simply impressive. The pool was everything we had hoped for and more.

The breakfast, personally served to us, was absolutely wonderful. It included everything one could wish for and was prepared with so much love. Every morning, we were met by our friendly host, with a big smile on her face.

The garden was outstanding and offered an endless assortment of charming seating areas. Each space was carefully designed to create a harmonious and tranquil atmosphere.

We would like to express our warm recommendations and gratitude to Lauren & Mendo for the incredible hospitality we experienced during our stay with them.

We greatly appreciated the small personal touches, such as taking the time to provide us with tips and recommendations for sights and activities in the area.

We left the place with smiles on our faces and warm memories. We hope to return as soon as possible and enjoy their hospitality once again.

The owners are very welcoming and kind. They obviously care about the wellbeing of their guests and go put of their way to meet whatever needs you might have.

Hemos estado este fin de semana y no podemos estar más contentos. Las instalaciones son de 10, no les falta detalle, todo muy cuidado y bonito, las habitaciones están más que limpias y con todo lo necesario. Lauren no ha podido ser más atenta con nosotros, se ha preocupado de que toda la estancia sea maravillosa pero respetando mucho la intimidad, es un encanto de mujer. Sin duda repetiremos nuestra estancia allí. 100% recomendado!

Nos acordamos mucho de Casa Paco. Un trozo de paraíso en el desierto de Almería. La finca es preciosa y está hecha y cuidada con mucho cariño en cada detalle. Laureen y Mendo son especialistas en ello, y se nota.

Wat hebben wij het heerlijk gehad bij Laureen en Mendo.
Casa Paco is een paradijs om tot rust te komen en te relaxen. Alles is daar prachtig en schoon.
Het ontbijt is heerlijk en de service is perfect!
Een heerlijk zwembad met handdoeken en natuurlijk de jacuzzi om niet te vergeten.
Wij hadden een grote mooie slaapkamer (met airco) met een hele ruime badkamer. Alles is nieuw en stijlvol ingericht.

Lieve Laureen en Mendo, heel erg bedankt voor alle gezelligheid en de fijne dagen die wij hebben gehad bij Casa Paco.

Wat een weelde van luxe en ontspanning beleef je in deze prachtige B&B. Laureen en Mendo hebben hier iets fantastisch van gemaakt. Wij hebben genoten van de gastvrijheid, de rust, het mooie zwembad, de jacuzzi, de bbq en de mooie kamer. Ook de omgeving is zeker meer dan de moeite waard.

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf in deze luxe B&B! Het heeft een mooi aangelegde tuin met prachtig uitzicht en is omgeven door olijfbomen. Echt een plaatje!
Er zijn diverse hoekjes om te zitten/liggen, afkoelen kan in het zwembad, relaxen in de jacuzzi.
De kamers zijn schoon en mooi ingericht met luxe badkamer. Ook koffie- en theefaciliteiten zijn aanwezig. En het ontbijt is iets om dagelijks naar uit te kijken, heerlijk!

Er zijn 2 fietsen ter beschikking voor algemeen gebruik, maar we zouden aanraden om een auto te huren gedurende het verblijf, het B&B ligt buiten het dorp. Voor een supermarkt of restaurantjes ben je dan flexibel. Mocht je een avondje in het B&B willen eten, dan kun je gebruik maken van een grote bbq met buitenbar.

Kortom: dit B&B is een echte aanrader!

He pasado allí una noche y seguro repetiré. El sitio es maravilloso y la atención es inmejorable - Laureen, la anfitriona, cuidó hasta el más mínimo detalle, preocupándose de que estuviéramos cómodos en todo momento. Lo recomiendo 100%.

We hebben van veel prachtige b&b’s mogen genieten, maar Casa Paco is wel heel bijzonder. Een Luxe Boutique B&B met hoofdletters! Wij mochten een aantal nachten verblijven op deze bijna onwerkelijk mooie locatie! Alles klopt hier. Een heerlijk grote luxe kamer met een zeer ruime en complete badkamer. Een fantastisch en zeer smakelijk uitgebreid ontbijt, en een zeer ruime tuin waar je steeds weer een nieuw fijn plekje kunt vinden om te genieten en te ontspannen. Waar je ook kijkt en hoe ver je ook kijkt, het uitzicht is overal even mooi en bijzonder. Voor ons was dit een nog onbekend deel van Spanje, en het heeft onze harten gestolen. Hier voelden we het authentieke Spanje, onaangeroerd door massatoerisme. En laten we dat zo houden :-).

En de gastvrijheid van Laureen en Mendo maakte ons verblijf helemaal compleet! Hartelijk dank lieve mensen voor een fantastisch verblijf en komen zeker terug!

Sólo puedo decir buenas palabras de este alojamiento dirigido por los maravillosos Laureen y Mendo, a escasa distancia de los pueblos Vélez-Rubio y Vélez-Blanco.

El alojamiento consta de una zona de piscina con hamacas y sombrillas con unas preciosas vistas de un campo de olivos y un cerro.
También tiene una zona ajardinada con una barbacoa y un jacuzzi. Idílico.
Además, ofrece una zona común interior con una gran mesa, nevera, microondas y cafés/agua para uso comunitario.

La habitación es amplia y cómoda, con aire acondicionado y un baño reformado precioso. Todo está mirado al detalle, nunca había visto algo así. La limpieza es increíble, parece que está todo nuevo.

Y qué decir del desayuno. Ofrecen una tabla con un montón de bocaditos de queso, embutidos, bizcocho además de cruasancitos, pan, tomate, mermeladas...

Pero lo mejor de todo son los anfitriones, su amabilidad y disposición es excepcional. Se dedican en cuerpo y alma a que los inquilinos estemos a gusto.
Sólo puedo agradecerles su generosidad, también por el detallito que nos hicieron al final de nuestra estancia... ojalá poder volver otro año! Gracias por todo!

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Caso Paco. Wat een geweldige plek om heerlijk te genieten en te relaxen. Laureen en Mendo zorgen dat je je meteen thuis voelt.
De kamer is ruim en licht met een bed met meer dan prima matras. Vanaf nacht 1 prima geslapen! In de grote badkamer met inloopdouche en dubbele wastafel is aan alles gedacht, zachte handdoeken, douche fris, shampoos, föhn, tissues, badjas, slippers.

Je kan een lekker bakkie (nespresso) koffie of thee maken op de kamer, maar ook in de gezamenlijke ruimte. De dag beginnen met een overheerlijk ontbijt met een verse smoothie en vele lekkernijen, hartig en zoet beleg, yoghurt met cruesli.

Wij voelden ons vanaf het eerste moment thuis en verwend door de goede zorgen van Laureen en Mendo, en door de aanblik van de prachtige locatie en de mooie uitzichten.
Een aanrader! Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Ook deze keer een hartelijk ontvangst van Laureen en Mendo. Alles klopt aan deze B&B. De kamers, ontbijt, buitenruimte, locatie. En vooral de superlieve eigenaren.
