Wow, what an incredible experience celebrating my birthday at the restaurant! This was my first Michelin experience and I was not disappointed. From the incredibly friendly wait staff to the food line up, you can’t go wrong. I’m confused by other reviews that said there wasn’t enough food served…we received 17 different items and were elated by our experience.

One of the best meals myself and my partner have ever had. Interesting and innovative flavour combinations and excellent service.

We did find the time between courses a tad slow, however when we asked for them to speed up the kitchen duly obliged.

The plates appear small initially (as some other reviews mention) but by the end we were both very satisfied with the amount of food and came away completely full.

Honestly the BEST Michelin 2 star ⭐⭐ restaurant I've had in the past year. The restaurant is located on the 5/f of a hotel with beautiful seaview. While dinner at 6:30 is considered very early in Spain, I think it's the best time. As the first guest of the night, we got the best table right in the middle facing the sea. Throughout the 3-hour dinner, we also got to see the sunset as the sky goes from bright blue to ombre orange. The tasting menu is also impeccable - There are around 15 dishes and you will definitely go home with a full heart and tummy ♥ The best surprise is the desserts so I'm not posting any photos of it :)

Price €150 per person for tasting menu. In the end including drinks and service charge it's around €200 per person. For a restaurant at this level, it's SO worth the money.

Great fine dining experience for a fair price. The dishes were very creative and out of the usual. We especially liked the scallop and the Parmesan ravioli and celeriac roll. And the corn Mille feuille and obviously the sweet tree, the highlight at the end. It was our first two star restaurant and we could clearly see a difference to the one star restaurants we have been to in the past. Run by a friendly local family! Only downside is maybe maybe the interior design of the place which feels a bit cold.

This is a Michelin starred restaurant, therefore a 5 star is obvious and well deserved. This is not a meal, it's simply a culinary experience. The menu is impressive and you'll experience about 20 bite sized different plates, each one paired to different plates and tableware. Then you'll have more bite sized desserts. You can choose a 6 or 11 different wine glasses to be paired with the meal.
Everything was great, except of course the building where this restaurant is, which is a new hotel built a bit too quickly.

A gourmet experience for a memorable occasion. As they say, perfection lies in the details, the ambiance was great, the staff was really attentive, and the food was sublime. The course of 12 dishes takes you in a delicious journey, were you get to know the cuisine roots of the chef and his family, combining canary traditional flavors, elevated to the next level.

When we were there at the end of February 2018, most of the wines were white vs red, which goes without saying, more white meat than red.

Very good service, excellent presentations, and beautiful courses.
Only flaw is lints on my first wine glass.
Reservation is highly recommend in this small restaurant.

A perfectly orchestrated experience. Even in fine dining we have only seldomly experienced such a high degree of perfectionism, quality - and great service. The menu was delicious and had great twists on Canarian and Mediterranean cuisine, with the most surprising being a dessert featuring black garlic (that you could not really actively taste - it just created an insanely tasty flavour profile). The wine pairing is also very much recommended. The views from the restaurant are a sight to behold as well. A must-visit for anyone who enjoys fine dining experiences. We will be back!

Amazing food well worth the Michelin star ⭐ if not two. We had delicious food very rich in taste and ingeniously presented. The staff was super professional as well.

My wife and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at El Rincón de Juan Carlos and what a fantastic evening (03 Aug) it was. The food on the tasting menu was some of the best we've eaten with the stand out dish being the eel, the flavours complimented each other and the quails egg gave it a lovely, silky luxurious taste. Another dish we particularly enoyed was the sweetcorn taco. We opted to have the wine selection and each wine complimented the dishes it was intended for. The service throughout was slick and every dish and wine serving was always detailed to us. An exceptional evening, thank you El Rincón de Juan Carlos, certainly a highlight of our holiday.

Probably my favorite Michelin restaurant on the island.

The gorgeous ocean view, the service and the food - all perfectly balanced.

They do warn you beforehand, it will be a 3 hour meal, but it will be incredibly worth it!

It was my first fine dining experience, everything was amazing. I was just smiling all evening also thanks to the wine. The chef has a very specific style, I was in love with every single main course. Very friendly service.

Not only was this the best meal we had in the Canaries, it was one of the best meals we've had in recent memory. From start to finish, every dish was a work of art — conceptually bold, inspired, and flawlessly executed. We really hope this restaurant will be awarded a second Michelin Star soon. It's truly underrated.

This was the fourth time we visited. And the food was exquisite as always. The oxtail stood out for me because I usually would never eat it. But this was wrapped tenderly in a light, melt in your mouth yet flaky and utterly delicate pastry and the meat was cooked to the most gentle of textures. Phenomenal. While Micheline Stars are supposedly not taking the ambience and service into account, this family run restaurant takes the often snobbish atmosphere out of a wonderful evening. All the staff are delightful. It's a great experience all around. One thing I was missing this time: there used to be 2 tasting menus. Now there is only the one, big one which was a bit too much food. I hope they will bring back the slightly smaller one as well.

This was one of the best experiences in food that I ever had. Skip the two star restaurant and pick this one instead. Don’t forget to order a cab because after 12 wine you’ll need it.
