Olive Alchemy Retreat

We stayed with Claire and Andrew as a small family with our three month old son and all three of us felt very comfortable. The accommodation is located in a beautiful valley with a great view of the mountains around. The pool is a great place to enjoy the area and the ambiance. The whole property is very well maintained and idyllic. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It's just nice to wake up the next morning to the sounds of birds. The yoga room is also great. I was able to enjoy an osteopathy lesson and since then I feel much better. Claire also gave us Healing Sounds with singing bowls. It was a great experience for the three of us. My three-month-old son was very fascinated and interested.
Claire and Andrew are lovely people to talk to for a long time. However, they appreciate your privacy. They also gave us recommendations for the area.
We would love to come back anytime and are grateful to have been there.

From the arrival into the green valley down a steep gravel road, there is suspense and a wonderful feeling of remoteness arriving at Olive Alchemy Retreat. Coming into the drive at Andy and Claire's you are welcomed by the olive grove, flowers, and then the friendly face of their big dog. In March the wild flowers and green lushness are a welcome sight coming from colder climates. Andy and Claire have created a peaceful, natural and private space that makes any restless soul feel grounded. I mainly recall the bird song all around, and pottering in their veg patch, taking part in some weeding and learning a bit about planting with Claire. Also the profound meditations together in the morning, and Claire's extraordinary therapeutic sound healing with Tibetan bowls. The rooms are comfortable and tucked away with their own private breakfast and seating area where you can enjoy the morning sun before meandering a few steps to the pool. This is a welcoming place, run by hosts who are generous with their knowledge regarding health and well-being, as well as helping you explore the area with stunning hikes and adventures. A great combination. We will be back!

Feeling very relaxed after a weeks stay at the Olive Alchemy Retreat.

Andy and Claire have carefully created a very lovely and welcoming place in this beautiful part of Andalucia. It's very easy just to lounge around the pool looking over their olive trees and beautiful gardens, but if you do venture out then the beautiful towns of Rhonda and Zahara de la Sierra are easy to reach, or there are some lovely walks very close by.

We enjoyed an amazing sound healing session with Claire that was entirely unique and well worth asking for! Undoubtably this along with the sessions of meditation we joined them for really contributed to our sense of calm and satisfaction.

Olive alchemy retreats is just the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. You are completely surrounded my nature- beautiful olive trees, stunning mountains, fruit trees and a river. It is so quiet and peaceful there, you can fully relax, recharge and reconnect to nature and yourself. There are some great walks around and views over to the beautiful white town of zahara. The accommodation is lovely, the bed is super comfortable and the room nice and dark and quiet at night, perfect for a great night's sleep! The courtyard around the accommodation is beautiful, with rose and Jasmine plants and a table to sit in the sunshine and eat your breakfast. There is also a lovely cold water pool to have a refreshing swim in or lie next to in the sunshine. Claire and Andrew are lovely warm and welcoming hosts who are always happy to help you with anything you should need. We really enjoyed our stay here and it felt like home. We would absolutely come again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing stay in nature but with all the home comforts!

Beautiful place with beautiful people and beautiful animals set in beautiful landscape. Stay here gives you more than just retreat. It reminds you of peace and calm that should be in hearts of all of us. Clean rooms go in hand with fresh fruits. Both Claire and Andrew will make sure that it feels like home as soon as you arrive. It is worth thousands stars.

Lovely surprise between the olive gardens. Very peaceful place and above limits hospitality from Claire and Andrew. Nearby you find the most beautiful landscapes from Algodonales and Zahara. The rooms are clean and nice decorated. The public kitchen is comfortable. You feel a little at home. If we go back (what we will do) we know where we ‘re gonna spend our nights. Lovely place, to get away from the city and rest, we had a great time in there, we will definitely come back! The hosts were very nice and welcoming.

This is such a beautiful relaxing place, in the hills of Andalusia, with the dramatic townscapes of medieval Ronda just a short car ride away.
