The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama

Well, they did it again. This Ritz-Carlton is beyond fabulous. I mean, the facilities are great, the room was specious, and the beach is gorgeous! I think the greatest asset of this hotel is the staff. The gym is well equipped, but I think that having staff there was a beautiful addition. I would also mention Rolando from the beach. He was always so nice and helpful. We had a great massage and the Spa was super chill.

Others talked about breakfast, and yeah, that was beyond amazing.

We had an Awesome time here, there was a lot of things to do. We played a lot of golf & tennis, amazing golf course. We also enjoyed the pool, spa and the private beach. The restaurants was great as well, good selection of foods. Great location as well, not too far old town. Service here was excellent, we can't wait to come back. I highly recommend this beautiful and amazing resort.

What an amazing hotel and absolutely worth every penny. The staff alone makes this hotel 5 stars. They work so hard, are so attentive, and just the most kind people. So many delicious restaurants within the hotel, extremely comfortable rooms, and every single pool is a great time. Highly recommend this hotel, but don’t expect to leave and explore - you’ll want to stay here forever.

I have been a loyal Marriott bonvoy member since 2016 and have platinum status. This property and my stay here is a testament to how that loyalty can pay off. The Ritz upgraded us to a gorgeous villa overlooking the ocean, golf course and came with a private pool and villa lounge. The staff made us feel like royalty and were so generous with their hospitality and service. The food, amenities and overall atmosphere of the property was pristine. If venturing to Tenerife I would highly recommend this property. If I had to be constructive I would say more signage is necessary because the property is massive. Other than that, 11/10 would stay again no questions asked.

Acoran welcomed us to the hotel & he was very friendly and shared some helpful tips about the hotel and the island. Then we ran into some car troubles and Carmen at the front desk went above and beyond to help us get it figured out. The staff is VERY friendly and super helpful from the front desk to housekeeping to valet and beach staff! We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The staff goes to the max to help you with any questions. The hotel is very clean and absolutely gorgeous. The private beach and natural pools were the cherry on top. But honestly the staff made it such a relaxing vacation. They really make you feel like a VIP!

Stunning hotel, great service. We went the 1st of December for 8 days. The family pool was a bit cold on overcast days, just needed to be heated a couple more degrees. But this is personal preference. We hired a car which I'd recommend as it's not safe to walk anywhere outside the resort as the roads have no walking path. Plus you get to explore more having a car. We will definitely be back, our 9 year old son loved it.

Stunning hotel, can't praise the care and attention we received from every single member of staff. 5 star rating just not high enough....thank for a fabulous week. Only one negative was the night of a huge wedding, music was so 😖 awful and too loud.

This isn't just a resort, it's an experience. The place has all the usual resort trappings and more - breakfast buffets, pools, kids rooms, spas and i think 7 restaurants, 2 bring Michelin stars.
But facilities and amenities apart - it's the staff that sets the place apart. You can request for the moon and the staff will endeavor to find you one! They never turn down a request and treat you so special. The front manager - Isabel, breakfast manager Santiago, and the omlette lady deserve a special mention. But there are few others whose names I didn't catch. They just made our holidays this year!

This is the best hotel experience so far. The staffs are passionate and helpful. From the main entrance to lobby hall to the room, we feel a sense of welcoming and pleasant environment. The welcome drinks was refreshing after a long journey from London to the hotel. Staffs are eager to answer all our enquiries. Room cleaning services are exceptional.
We also love the Abama beach nearby! The train provided by the hotel just makes life so much easier!
Definitely will return in our next holiday. Thanks !

Nearing the end of our stay and would like to thank the staff for a wonderful vacation!! The service is fantastic and everyone is so helpful. Mirador and Verona restaurants were our favourites with superior food and service. The beach is so beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the train ride down everyday with William the driver. He was so helpful and kind and made our stay extra special. Thanks again to everyone at this hotel for a trip of a lifetime!

Gym was fantastic and I loved the fact they offer a complimentary class per day. Lovely views and hugely spacious rooms. Recommend to anyone who would like to relax and unwind. Breakfast staff were lovely especially the lady who greets everyone - sorry I forgot your name!

I have now yet lived there but intend to do so. They have the negotiable best small beach in Teneriffa and heated pools. Very civilized and convenient from the outside.

Fantastic hotel but most importantly Fantastic crew helping us during out stay. You are making such a great hard work which is refre to see!! The team in every department could not be more cheerful, happy and helpful ! Dont listen to others Karens reviews . The resort is not only beautiful but the world class service is delievered here. It was the second time visiting and i was equally impressed. Special thanks to Yballa serving us at the beach - she is shining more than the sun on sky, bringing smile and laughter on the beach. The selection of restaurants will cater to everyones needs - from an easy going beach bar, through casual restaurants to Michellin stars Award dining. Visitied MB for the second time too and was just fantastic. During my stay , there was a big wedding going on but did not disturb our stay too much. Thank you team, you are fantastic!!

What a paradise! Pictures can not give you the feeling that you can have when you reach this oasis. This hotel is one of the best I have visited in my life. Everything was amazing. It is good food romantic trip and for family vacation as well. There is a personal approach to everybody and no cons are popping on my mind. Must visit, at least once in a lifetime :)

An amazing Hotel that feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of Tenerife. Great sports amenities and restaurants. The beach area was our favourite and the great service from staff.

Great place, fantastic and familiar ambiance. We had, again, a marvellous time at the Abama and its beautiful surroundings.
The huge hotel complex is magnificent. Magical! No need for an
abracadabra. It’s all there.
We were once again impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The breakfast buffet is a wonderful start into the day. There is wide range of delicious food and beverage. Plus
an excellent service by a helpful and sympathetic crew. Fond memories of Magdalena and Ìnez, who attended us most of the time. However, we also received a great service from everyone else
involved. As already mentioned: What a great kickoff into the day. We also tried most of the restaurants in the hotel area. Everyone was outstanding in service and food. we are looking foreward to soon being back to this enchanting place.

Update: The manager was very understanding about our concerns and made things right. If you are planning a stay here and would find very loud music disruptive (up until 11pm), I would recommend mentioning in your reservation notes that you would like to face a quiet side. Overall, it’s our favorite hotel in the world!

Everything about this hotel is incredible. Great service. Amazing building. Great food. Chill vibes. Great place to relax.

BUT, for some inexplicable reason they have decided to host extremely loud wedding receptions at the main pool, which is surrounded by guest rooms. This is a hotel where lots of people bring their babies and young children. That’s why we are staying here! But now we are sitting in our room listening to thumping music that will be going until at least 11pm. It’s a real shame because up until this point we both agreed this had been our best hotel experience ever.

The staff was amazing, going above and beyond every day to ensure our stay was perfect. Amazing view, and spotless rooms and premises. Hands down best 5s hotel I’ve been to so far.

Great hotel and resort. We loved the villa stay with the club access. Totally worth the upgrade! Greta drinks and food around the private pool there just for the club members. The club lounge is close to the beach entrance( a walk down the hill or use the cable car to access). Overall a great stay we ended up just staying in the club lounge area the whole stay. Totally worth the trip for a staycation!

Had a wonderful time here with my girlfriend. The service was excellent with the staff making every interaction personalized. They did an amazing job from start to finish. We will definitely be coming back for longer next time.
