Restaurant Can Roca d´Esponellà

We were staying at nearby Camping Esponella and walked down to this restaurant. The staff were super professional and very welcoming. The menu wasn't extensive but everything was home cooked and delicious. We received excellent wine recommendations to compliment our food choices.
There were many locals in there, big family dinners etc. The decor was austere but in keeping with a rural restaurant. We liked the old pictures of the restaurant and staff hung around the walls.

If you miss this traditional Restaurant you miss Life. Since 1910 a family business with heart and sense. Exceptional!!

Very good local restaurant. Plastic chairs outside are quite funny given the setting of the place but give it an authentic feel. Food was really good and waiters friendly.

People we know have been coming here for a long time and it is a well known family business.

Popular and famous restaurant in a small historic village near Banyoles. They have many typical Catalan dishes well prepared and presented with professional service. Not as famous as it's Michelin starred namesake but better if you want good food that you recognize in a pleasant setting.

Fantastic meal. Excellent service. Lovely local wine. Will certainly return.

Un bon restaurant de cuina casolana y molt ben elaborada.

Restaurant amb menjar casolà. Excel.lent qualitat - preu i el tracte genial. Hem menjat molt bé! Repetirem segur!

Disfrutamos de la comida, de la estancia y del servicio, tienen muchos vinos aunque en muestro caso pedimos el aperitivo nonino que no estaba nada mal, las alcachofas rebozadas y el arroz de montaña deliciosos. El pastel de queso con textura perfecta y además probé la cerveza artesana ipa que para mi gusto un poco amarga.

Com sempre perfecte, l'Esther i el seu equip cuinen de meravella. Cal destacar el servei també.

Calidad-precio increíble, hemos pedido dos entrantes (canelones de Can Roca y croquetas de pollo) y un plato principal (galta de porc) todo esta de 10, y a muy muy buen precio! El postre también estaba buenísimo, la tarta tatin. Todo lo dicho más 2 bebidas y pan hemos pagado 38 euros! Acabamos llenísimos! Muy recomendado sin duda. El servicio muy bueno y rápido.
Nos han dejado entrar con nuestra perrita y eso nos encanta!

La qualitat del menjar juntament amb les mans de la cuinera fan d'aquest restaurant un lloc per tornar-hi ben sovint... tb s'hi pot fer esmorzar de forquilla i sopar a la fresca. Aquest cop he regalat un menú especial i han quedat encantats. Tots els plats cuinats amb detall i fent xup xup...presentació genial, salsetes gustoses, racions generoses. GENIAL 💞
