Alojamiento Rural Antares

I booked this villa quite some months ago and the owner Luis was in contact right from the get go. He was always quick to answer any questions I had before I arrived here too, very helpful.

The house once we got here was absolutely stunning. It is easy to find as the village is small and this sits just on the fringe of the village.

It is set in beautiful grounds which have been planted with trees, honeysuckle, lavender and more. The pool sits under pine trees which does give shade for most of the day. There is a BBQ, which Luis provides some wood and charcoal and this is located next to an outdoor dining area which has a large canopy over the top.

Lots of wildlife to see, I saw an iberian green woodpecker, deer, around 10 types of butterfly and could hear wild boar nearby. Sandmartins also nest in the cliff opposite the villa and they had their chick's while we were there.

If you visit 1st week of August, the village is in fiestas, so please do expect a lot of noise to come up from the village as they have live music and other activities, they also have a bull run, which wasn't for me I'm afraid, but we did enjoy the rest of the fiestas and all the locals are very friendly.

The grounds are gated so it remains private at all times. The pool is also fenced with a gate should you have small children with you.

We were a group of 9, a mix of teens and adults and there was plenty of space for us all inside the villa and it never felt cramped.
Luis had provided us with some basics for when we arrived and he ensured that he had shown us all areas of the home and how things work.

The location is good for discovering areas of local interest outside of Madrid. It is only a 20 minute drive to Guadalajara and only 1.5h to Madrid should you need to go there. I would recommend a bus from Guadalajara, which was only around €7 return each rather than faff with a car in the city. The area near the villa is rich in historic places, such as castles and medieval artifacts and buildings. There are some areas of Roman interest too.

We did have a couple of issues with water while we were there, the supply was being fixed, but Luis soon sorted that all out and was on hand, he also has a holding tank of water so it was never a problem. These things happen.

All in all we have had a lovely stay here and I highly recommend Luis and his hospitality. He deserves his superhost status on Airbnb as he really does go above and beyond to look after you. The villa is totally equipped with all you need.

The only thing I will point out for awareness, is one of our group was unable to use the pool due to disability issues. There is no rail to hold onto to walk into the pool and she is unable to sit on floor to slide in, so just please be aware of this. A rail would have made all the difference.

Lo pasamos absolutamente increíble, estuvimos de cumpleaños y fue de 10 todo. Seguramente volvamos porque el sitio es genial.

Luis además es un anfitrión genial, nos ayudó en cualquier duda y nos aconsejó muy muy bien.

Todo es genial, la ubicación, el espacio, la casa está perfectamente equipada. Pasamos un finde con amigos y está perfecto para ese fin. Además Luis fue muy agradable con todos nosotros, volveríamos seguro.

Estuvimos en junio y muy contentos. La casa totalmente equipada y amplia. La zona de la piscina genial. En general todas la instalaciones están muy bien. Los dueños son muy majos y serviciales. Totalmente recomendable.

Simplemente increíble. Fuimos el año pasado y hemos vuelto este. La casa tiene todas las comodidades para una larga estancia si lo deseas, estaba todo impecable. El exterior de lujo, el césped cuidadísimo, la barbacoa, el jardín, la zona de los pinos, la piscina... Todo un lujo de verdad. Qué paz, qué silencio. Hemos estado muy agusto. Luis además es un encanto y está siempre que lo necesites. Si ya somos fan, encima tendremos siempre el recuerdo de que mi peque de un año se soltó a caminar solita allí!! Esperamos repetir mil y una veces más!!!

Hemos pasado unos dias muy agradables, descansando y disfrutando de la casa, el jardín y las chimeneas, perfectas para relajarte. Luis y Concha son estupendos.

La casa está genial tanto en ubicación en medio de la naturaleza para desconectar como en cuanto a equipamiento para poder pasar una estancia muy cómoda. Cabe destacar la amabilidad y atención del dueño de la casa, ha sido un placer, muy recomendable.

Sitio estupendo, la casa limpia, grande y muy equipada. Luis el anfitrión es genial.

Otro verano de 10 gracias a este paraíso cerca de Guadalajara, hecho realidad por sus inigualables propietarios, Luis y Concha. La casa, la piscina, el cenador, la barbacoa, el precioso jardín... Todo pensado con mimo y detalle para el disfrute de los sentidos. Un lujazo!!!

Lugar idílico en plena Alcarria. Casa completamente equipada, juegos para los niños, chimenea, una buena barbacoa. Sin duda repetiremos.
