Restaurante El Varadero

Last night we went here after visiting Gibraltar. We were looking for some nice food. What a surprise this place offers great food, fresh fish and truly amazing prices in compare to other places. The portions are big so choose wisely between half portion or normal portion (ración). The service was exceptional, the waiter was very nice, even helped me cleaning a wound I had from a monkey attack in Gibraltar. Next time we are in the neighbourhood we will definitely go again. It I could give this place 10 stars I would. The fish, seafood and paella were delicious. The service was excellent.

Lovely fresh food, with great service. 4 of us have a lovely lunch, the service was great even with a very full restaurant. The salads, the fish and the calamari were very fresh and tasty. Would recommend to anyone.

It’s an excellent place to have fish, portions are very reasonable in size and price. It is also situated just by the beach and had ample parking by the road

Nobody in their right minds in the area around the bay of Algeciras would ever think of eating in Gib.

You go to Gib early in the morning, do your shopping or touristy things, came out, and drive to La Atunara, a very modest (not to say ugly) area of La Linea, where there are a number of excellent fish restaurants.

We've been coming to the Varadero - or the Manolo as it used to be - for 40+ years. And have never been disappointed.

Fish, fresh fish. You might get some salad too, but basically it's fish and seafood.

Fried, grilled, baked, cooked however you like. The portions are pretty large, you might want to ask for a media racion of some of the things. If you are a large-ish group, get 6 or 7 different things to share. Yummy all of it.

And as is normal in La Linea, generally less pricey than in the Costa del Sol or nearby Algeciras.

Good and fresh food. Gazpacho war very very good. I took chicken with garlic - it was also very good. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody

Gran lugar, con unas vistas preciosas a la playa la cual se encuentra a 10 metros. Situado en la costa del sol. Materia de calidad y a un buen precio . Alimentos frescos. Excelente trato de los camareros y servicio. Terraza amplia y preciosa , interior precioso.

Muy bien sitio para comerte un pescaíto frente al mar, con fácil aparcamiento.
Éramos 4 personas y cenamos por 62€, nada caro!
El atún a la plancha excelente, las frituras de pescado super buenas y escurridas, los boquerones con un sabor a limón increíble y el adobo muy bien aliñado.
El choco a la plancha super tierno.

Restaurante de pescadito frito tipiquisimo de la línea. Camareros amables y atentos aunque un poco sobrepasados. Producto fresco y recién hecho, todo tiernísimo! Hemos ido otros años y solía pedir para mí solo platos a la plancha pero este año nos ha sorprendido con que TODA LA CARTA tiene opción SIN GLUTEN al mismo precio que la "normal". Mi pareja que no tiene intolerancia al gluten (como es mi caso) compartió conmigo y ni lo notó, de hecho el cazón hasta le gustó más. 100% una gratisima experiencia y recomendación para comida GLUTEN FREE

Fuimos a comer por primera vez, nos atendieron muy rápido y amables . Nos gustó la limpieza, la comida, el trato , calidad y precio. Habían 6 camareros atendiendo muy organizados , atentos y amables .Recomiendo el choco frito , el gallo frito, el postre , nos gusto todo pero para mi gusto la ensaladilla rusa las he probado mejores ,la paella muy buena te puedes pedir un plato y no verte obligado a pedir una paella entera. Lo recomiendo y seguro que volveremos otra vez .

Muy rico todo y de calidad, pedimos chocó a la plancha sin tinta, ensalada, cazón en adobo, gallo... y todo muy muy rico. Nos han atendido muy pronto y la comida ha venido muy rápida. La camarera muy simpática y todo ok

Buenísimo el pescado y las frituras. Trato agradable por parte del personal. Servicio rápido y los precios muy ajustados. Las gambas fritas y con gabardina espectaculares!

2nda vez que voy y calidad-precio muy buena. He visto algunos comentarios de servicio lento y tal. Pues tampoco es para tanto, es que la comida no viene en lata. Recomendable...
