Casa Carpia

The villa was very well maintained set in stunning surroundings. It is a typical Spanish villa, but each room has air con and the kitchen is well equipped. It is 15 min by car to Ronda and 30min to many other beautiful Spanish villages / lakes. The owner was lovely and on hand for anything we needed ( which we didn’t but it was good to know help was about ) . The whole family loved Casa Carpia

Very nice comfortable well equipped 3 bed villa with lovely pool. Fantastic rural location with stunning views. Local town of Arriate 5 mins drive and the spectacular Ronda 15 mins.

Puedo decir con total libertad que es uno de los mejores alojamientos donde he estado jamas, el sitio es espectacular, tiene de todo incluso hasta los detalles mas pequeños, los dueños no pueden ser mas amables y atentos, la situacion es fantastica, muy facil de llegar y cerca de lugares tan geniales como Ronda o Setenil de las Bodegas. Esta en Arriate, un pueblecito precioso y muy economicos sus bares y restaurantes... por todo esto no puedo mas que recomendarlo al 100 x 100, nosotros fuimos dos familias y estuvimos genialmente bien y disfrutamos del terreno tan grande y la piscina.....

Casa rural muy chula en arriate

Loved this casa, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could ever need. Strong, reliable WiFi was a real bonus. Generally really comfortable (see comment below re the mattress) and would definitely return. The owners were really lovely too.

Views from the casa and the surrounding are are stunning.

One star lost because of two things: the mattress on the bed where I slept (downstairs bedroom) was very firm, some people might prefer this but it gave me a sore back; also the swimming pool was incredibly cold, we weren't able to use it because it was so cold which was a real shame.

If you're thinking of staying here, a couple of things to bear in mind (which are outside of the owners control): the flies! Sitting outside when there was no breeze was problematic due to the number of flies. Secondly, most of the surrounding properties have guard dogs that bark through the night, I got very little sleep on two nights because of this.

That said, still loved staying at Casa Carpia.

It is absuloutly beautiful, it has incredible views and a beautiful garden, the only things are that there were not many towels for the pool (only 4) and we had to call the owner as we could not find the key to the villa. One bedroom has a balcony with an incredible veiw and the other two have nice views from the window. The pool is nice and refreshing in the summer when it is very hot and the Terris area is nice and shady with an area for you to eat. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back here again.
